Hi guys quick question, How long will Hill keep his spot in the team and also greg Broughton is he likely to be back in the team within the next 2 weeks?????
Thanks in advance

Hill is improving each week, his spot seems be safe ATM. May get a rest later in the season so he doesn't get overworked.

Broughton's injury is being tested now to see if he can play this weekend. The question remains, will Harvey bring him back into the team or give him a run in the WAFL. Most of us hope he'll come back in.

Hey guys with Palmer going down do you expect De Boer to come in? How did he go on the weekend in the WAFL??

Thanks

Seems to be a logical choice. Harvey may go one of couple of ways, bring DeBoer into the team to go into the middle, but most seem to think Duffman will move into the middle. Most of the fans would like to see DeBoer in the team though. Suban is a sentimental favourite for the palmer role, but IMO Harvey wont risk a kid in the job yet.

will duffman get more mid time now

I'd expect him to be the logical first choice. Good time for him to step up and show a bit.

Thanks for that:thumbsu:, would not mind it if Suban took his spot since i have Suban,Hill and Broughton all in my team. Hope De Boer gets a game though so i can downgrade to him

Is Haselby a certain starter this week? He looked pretty sore in stages last week and just wondering if any of the local WA supporters have heard any news?

Well he's named in the side mate so all signs point to --> yes. Chances of him being a late withdrawal are negligible - he will play even if he's sore. Just dont expect him to score well, with palmer out he'll get a lot of attention from the eagles mids.

Yeah I know he's been named. Late change though is what worries me because I have no backup and if he does get another low score it will hurt. I have him in both SC and DT, I'll hold onto him in DT but SC I think I'll move him on. It was always the plan to either downgrade or upgrade him.

This Dream Team thread now has over 20,000 views on our board - and the sticky making it the key thread for DT/SC comment was only created on 11 April.

That's over 20,000 views in less than 3 weeks - why is it that speculating about pretend scores of footballers playing in pretend teams against pretend opponents is so addictively popular (speaking as a recent fantasy footy convert myself)??

So what exactly did he do to his ankle?

Also what did you guys think of De Boer? Did not see the game since it was not on tv down here. Did he do alright and does he look like he will keep his spot?

Unlikely they'll drop him from a winning team. He was hard at it, didn't back down from a contest and showed a bit. I think Harvey will give him more time, especially seeing Crowley is out injured and IIRC Deboer has played a number of defensive tagging roles before.

What are de Boer's chances of holding his spot for most of the year?

Cheers.

Better than Cockie IMO if that's what you're deciding...

Unless Cockie stars, he'll likely be made a scapegoat when the Eagles get (inevitably) hauled.

de Boer on the other hand should be given plenty of burn, don't let his score last week put you off. The kid is a proven champion in the U/18's and I think the only reason he slipped so far in the draft was concerns over his kicking - but judging by his pre-season these problems have been ironed out :thumbsu:

Any news on Ballantyne? Injury list says he's two weeks away. Obviously he'll come through the Wafl but his fitness should be OK (it's only his wrist after all) so could we see him playing for the Dockers sooner rather than later?

That's a million dollar question. Nobody knows anything except the club. The time keeps stretching out further and further.
