So as it stands, Haileybury and Scotch are the two teams who have won every game.

Then i believe it is BGS and MGS in second place with a win and a draw.

Then, it would be Xavier and St.Kevs with one win and a loss.

also theres probably some other schools who are doing o.k, but these are the most important ones.

also potentially CGS could have two wins but im not quite sure about that.

so the question is, how many losses can an APS football team endure, and still win the premiership?
MGS probably can't afford to lose any from here, and that includes beating St Kevins and Haileybury. and MGS has only played one game so were not in Second, we had a bye last week

Scotch is bound to screw up at some stage

Like last year, I reckon its Haileybury and MGS the big two, St Kevins blew up any chances in that loss against Xavier (unless they somehow beat both haileybury and MGS)

We can't lose. Easy game next week, wesley. is this a chance for MGS to give some year 10s a run in the firsts?

There isn't really a huge standout, just 4 or 5 better teams, so with a few upsets, I would be suprised if 1 and a half losses or even 2 was still enough to win a premiership

Sorry, but anyone who doesn't rate Jack Watts is an idiot.
And your a collingwood supporter...

"Watts will be terrorising Melbourne Grammar's best on Saturday"
Hardly our best with four key team injuries and our number 1 ruckman out. Yep Watts totally terrorised Grammar. More like Steve May took a crap in his face when he was playing in the backpocket for a quarter and a half, and Keath in the 4th quarter demolished him.
Sorry Melbourne, should've taken Naitanui or Rich.

"In the meantime, he gets the chance to beat up on reigning premier Melbourne Grammar."
Unfortunately for Watts, BGS and Melbourne supporters, he didn't take the chance

KEY QUOTES from the sidelines
-"Hey number 17(BGS), what does Jack Watts dick taste like"

-"Stick to downball Watts"

This was from about 30 odd people and he couldn't cop it and went to talk to the BGS coach who told an MGS teacher who moved us all.
Whats going to happen in the MCG under 80000 when he screws up and gets heckled by them all.

I don't rate the kid.

yeah your probably right i mean all the afls talent scouts and all the newspapers must be wrong. melbourne took him number one but surely that cant mean hes any good?? oh yeah and winning the larke medal as the best player in the TAC cup MUST have been a fluke...

lol stop embarassing yourself with your google search of jack watts.

Did I say he wasn't good? I actually said he "played good but not great" today - which is true

I don't rate him

Nick Riewoldt is a number 1 draft pick. I don't rate him either, I think his overrated. Does that make him shit? DOes that mean his worse then the 20 000 000 people in Australia? How does make all his achievements in football a fluke

No. You're a D I C K H E A D

Actually the correct use of the English language in this case would be you're, you insert an apostrophe to indicate when two words are condensed into one. I guess a private school education isn't what it used to be.

Why did you feel the need to heckle him? Maybe you felt the need to project your own feelings of inadequacey because you have yet to achieve anything of significance in your own life

I don't rate the kid.

Like I said, anyone who 'doesn't rate the kid' is an idiot, or an incredibly poor judge, or both. That's just a fact.

All 16 of the AFL clubs would have picked Jack Watts as their no 1 pick. Jack was picked up no 1 as a 17yo and also won the Larke Medal as player of the carnival for the National U18 championships as a bottom ager.

Anyone here who doesn't rate him, just doesn't really matter.

skevs v xavs was a cracker of a game. Well done xc to get up by 3 points, but bad luck skevs, almost ran over them. Bloody good game with great spirit!

yet another agonising chapter in the history of skevs vs xavs clashes since 1996. but yeah was a great game filled with passion. crowd was excellent for skevs, and quite reasonable for xavs-although not as many as i expected but then again, it was our home game. xavier should be very proud of themselves, they completely outplayed us in the second and third quarters after skevs were on fire in the first. xavs' forward set up was potent all day..well coached side. skevs were only inches away from snatching victory from what has become an ignominious defeat in a heartstopping climax to the match.

Just for the record, I rate him.

But to be fair to number8draftpick, both times myself and other MGS boys have seen him play, he hasn't lived up to the hype. Last year, he kicked 1.4, missing some fairly easy shots.
This year he kicked three goals, but got ran down 4-5 times.

Again, I think he is a very good player with massive upside, thus he was picked number 1, but he just hasnt played THAT well against MGS.

can we please keep the arguments related to football. this isnt an english essay

easily one of the best wins in modern aps history from xavier, to come from 5 goals down at quarter time to a seemingly inpenetrable skevs outfit after a poor loss the week before, injuries to key players and a massive underdog status. hannerbery stood up with 20 tackles. **** me what a game
