Who plays at full-forward this week then? Cameron Cloke, Setanta O'hAilpin, Adam Hartlett, Chris Judd, Chris Yarran, Brad Fisher, Matthew Kreuzer, Shaun Hampson?

Not all bad, our forward line will find it much easier to apply defensive pressure without him sulking next to the goal post!

I think its almost at that point where a lot of folks think "so what", or "good", or worse yet, "who cares".

As much as he can be an asset, he can also be a liabilty.

Perhaps its us that needs the week of from him ;)

Fev will play. He played with two (I'm sure?) broken fingers for multiple weeks and he is no stranger to getting jabs. Besides, it's his pinky finger that's injured. If any player had to choose which finger for them not to use in a marking contest, it would be their pinky finger.

As I said, the Fev man will play.

Maybe Andrew Walker can come in for Fev and we can just play him out of the goal square, ease him in.
Walker has played no football, and you want to bring him in and put him at full forward, an incredibly physically demanding position?

I am absolutely appalled by some of the harsh remarks being made about one of our own, by our own supporters. Constructive criticism of our players is understandable, but some of our supporters are sounding more & more like Richmond supporters all the time.

Agree totally some of the garbage that has been posted in the last few days is a joke, trade Gibbs, drop Fevola for what Adam Hartlett you have to be joking, we all know Friday was very ordinary but even more ordinary is the standard of posts since this game.

We are playing for our season this week and Fevola must play, he is still our only quality forward on our list and we are really need to find some quality support options for him so our attack is not so dependant on one player.

Funny you should say that, some of our players are starting to remind me of richmond players...

I don't mind if someone has a bad game, as long as they have a go, all you can do is your best. But tell me, in all honesty, do YOU know which Fev is going to turn up Sunday?

More to the point do YOU think his behaviour at times this year, ON THE PARK has been acceptable? As a member of our leadership group, do YOU think he provides a good example to our young players?

That first game aginst Freo, man that smelt bad, there have been a few since as well. Does Fev know that he is representing a club and its supporters each weekend?

You earn respect chief, look at Cox/Judd, you could cut their throats and they would still be running, they are leaders and champions.

Now here we are asking, which Fev is going to front up, see a difference.

Actually, we have been playing for our season every week, the only reason this game is so critical is beacause Fev had a hissy fit in the first one. Had another one on the weekend, Sydney..

"MUST PLAY", SEE THATS PART OF THE PROBLEM, FEV CAN DO WHAT FEV WANTS, RATTEN JUST PUTS HIM ON NOTICE AGAIN.

They've set themselves up for a downfall with their expectations.

l think if you look a little deeper at Friday's night's game sure Fev did not have a good game however the Dons kicked 16 out of the last 18 goals in the second half so l think it would be fair to say they controlled the ball and our attack e.g Fevola has very few opportunities clearly our midfield was thrashed and we went into the game too defensive with too many heavy tags and Essendon clearly has greater leg speed and we have a question marks over the real skills of at least 6 players in this game and clearly this is a major reason why the Bombers have the wood on us better skills and much quicker, every week it is the same old story we lose Fev is to blame, the problem is far deeper than one player.

We have a attack that has one class player and he is the focus every week for the opposition surely it is time for people to focus and realise this will not change until we can get some more quality to support him.

No champ, not at all, we have a lot of young kids out there, had a lot of injuries as well, makes it tough, and still could make the 8.

But Fev has just about worn out his welcome with a lot of people. I would prefer to see a kid down there busting his guts every week, the look of joy on his face when he scores a goal...and we have Fev, but which one is going to turn up..oh and all those other kids in our side, get to watch this happening every second or third week, on the park, while they are busting their guts...

And if he kicks 8 goal on the weekend, is that okay, does that make everything okay, no, ot does not, cause you just know, in 2 or 3 weeks..
