hey im just wondering if any of you guys know if anybody will be selling dread lock wigs at the game on the weekend? im wanting to buy one but im not sure if i should buy one online(because i cant find any around perth) or should wait and see if anyone sells them at the game.

p.s i dont really want those eagles benie things because you cant cut them down unless you want to sew them back up because they are just hollow tubes.

Why not just cut the west coast one down - so they're hollow tubes, no need to sew them up - they are polar fleece - no threads to come loose once cut - looks fine. Plus if you can be bothered, like I was, with a needle and thread for 10 minutes, once you cut it to NicNat length, the bits you cut off are perfect length to sew in as more dreadies :thumbsu:

Then my elderly mum went crazy with the one for my 9 yr old boy - cut the west coast beanie the same way, then bought $3 worth of black polar fleece from Spotlight, cut and sewed it into tubes, then turned them inside out over and around the white, blue and gold ones... cpl of stitches per dread to hold the tubes on - all done :D

I'll get pics of my kids wearing them for ya :)

well when i went into the team store 2 weeks ago, i asked them if it was possible to cut it down, but they sed they wouldnt reccommend it becuase it will fray very easily. but i saw some guy wearing one against st kilda so i thought hey, i will try that, but when i went to get one they were all sold out:(. cant find them at any afl store either:(.

I saw him on the Ch9 and 10 news that night - but only as background footage... Ch 10 did talk to him, but I just assumed they didnt use the interview stuff.... dude you have GOT to remember so I can request it from the network! Was it on Western Front or something - is that Ch 10?
