The best part of it all was the fairy Campbell Brown talking tough after the game. He failed to imtimidate anyone for four quarters and then tried to enhance his hard man reputation when he could have done that at some stage in the second half. I heard a supporter call him a plastic hard man yesterday. I tend to agree with him.

Sure, I am an Essendon fan.

But there is absolutuly NO DISPUTE he was shoved into that hit.

The tribunal will have to weight that up.

I just wish the media would show the whole incident from the wide view, not the zoomed in one which just shows the hit.

The essendon media manager's comments summed it up perfectly as did BT. Make no mistake that Lloyd will get rubbed out, however he did not sniper sewell.

They are two non-consecutive frames. You're being disingenuous.

The video shows Schoenmakers losing contact with Lloyd well before the bump. And he still had the presence of mind to get his shoulder in position to bump Sewell, ie. he had control.

It's also worth noting that Lloyd never got low enough to contest the ball. He played the man.

The other thing I find hilarious are the people who whining about 'the bump is dead' last week, and now want Lloyd gone for many more weeks. Make up your mind you morons, you can't have it both ways.

the video or pictures do not support that at all.

Actually, if you look at the 2nd pic, Lloyd is actually bracing for impact, he isnt in the position of actively hitting someone. His head is IN FRONT of his shoulder. That is not the way any players bumps/shirt fronts.

It does need to be watched to get a better idea, but if anyone argues he wasnt pushed, I will argue you are blind.

Well lets see, it was intentional, but it was minimal contact that did no damage... based on the fact Rance got away with Punching Buddy in the mouth, while three guys held him down... Bateman should get off. But don't cry, he is a Hawk player, so he will get suspended. While Lloyd who is sniping dog, will get off.

that is because he was pushed at/before the first pic - where they were approximatley 3-4-5 meters away from Sewell at the time.

The hand falls off the back because he was shoved forward - go and shove someone, your hand fall off them,and they fall forward. Not rocket science there.

If the youtube club had more frames, I could show em but I cant.

At worst, this must put some doubt in the tribunal eyes. It has to.

At best, they concede it was a push.

I reckon I have seen more Essendon supporters pissing and moaning about Hawk supporters and trying to deflect attention away from Lloyds crude bump than Hawk supporters whining.

It's laughable that some people are attempting to defend such an obvious and dangerous hit (ignoring intent).

As long as Lloyd gets rubbed out, I think Hawthorn fans can live with the idea that the rule are similarly inequitable.
