eagles should wear this as their away jumper but with the modern eagle logo they have...would look good.

they shold wear the royal blue with yellow wings as home

Look at the Sekem tag on it. It's of much more recent vintage than the guernsey is purporting to be.

Now this one could be one that was made to be worn by a player, the badging suggests this (replicas had a more rounded VFL shield than the real deal 99% of the time).

The more rounded VFL logo seems to have been introduced gradually between 1984 and 85.

Yes they could.

One of my great regrets is not buying a long sleeve Oakleigh jumper from the Oakleigh Market back in the mid 80's when I had the chance.

Not that it would fit me now. lol

In addition to this, my dad used to live in Sandy, and the sports shop down there always had Zebbys jumpers in them.

I also saw Waverley, Preston and Coburg jumpers sold locally.

That Werribee jersey could also be a Whitefriars in the ammos their jersey was similar to that years ago.

Also the Nth Ballarat jersey, that is the old VFA logo the first year they changed to the VFL kept old VFA colours, the next year they cahnged to Blue and white.

The patch looks fake like an iron on though not the proper Stitch on badge.

Note that is a prototype guernsey (very rare I believe) and not the ones that they did wear out on the ground (as their is no SGiO sponsors and the guernsey is also imprinted with the old AFL logo).

All the current jumpers would be available if you purchased through the club; I have Box Hill, Werribee (new and old), North Ballarat and a couple of others all in the process of being signed by club greats. The old Werribee W jumper is signed by premiership coach Donald McDonald and framed.

This is going to sound like a silly question since you're trying to buy one, but do you or have you ever owned an Ochre jumper onyacoxy?

interestingly the afl watermark is the 90's badge, yet the chest badge is the current one.

Even I would like one for its sheer cringeworthyness.

You'd definately stand out of the crowd at an Eagles game - you don't see many at Subi for a good reason.

But I reckon you'd be better off holding out for a standard-issue one to crop up; this one looks like it will be for the serious jumper collector who has it all. The eventual price will reflect this no doubt.
