Re: 2010 Wimbledon

The French?? They're very...on the fence when it comes to Nadal. I mean generally they support him, but not nearly as much as some of their other favourites. Didn't you hear Uncle Toni about how he thought the French had never really treated Nadal nearly as favourable as others.

I understand what you are saying about all the other favorites. But i mean more then not they will be cheering for him unless like you said he comes up against a Federer or someone like that.

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

Rodinova beat Kuznetsova.
Hewitt vs Monfils 2nd on center court tomorrow.
Simon vs Murray round 3.
Nadal wins in 5

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

I missed the Rodionova v Kuznetsova game last night, would really like to watch it.
Does anyone know where i can download this game?
Your help is much appreciated, cheers!

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

I didn't see the match, but I don't blame Svetlana, Rodinova was probably carrying on during the entireity of the match and probably did something to cause it, Sveta is a nice girl so I'm sure there's something. Rodinova is a b**** anyway, she's an Aussie but I couldn't really care less. The British girl should of finished in the first round.

Little surprised they put Hewitt/Monfils on CC, not because it isn't a good matchuip, but Monfils was struggling with his knee the other day.

Few fun matchups tonight, Henin/Petrova, Clistjers/Kirilenko, Roddick/Kohlschreiber (3rd round at a slam again ), Lopez/Melzer and of course Isner/De Bakker

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

There's always a ton of five setters when big servers meet at Wimbledon, because grass is so conducive to their game. Greg Rusedski played a couple of marathons in his time, as did Ivanisovic.

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

I'm seriously dying to watch a Rodionova match. She sounds like she has incidents in every game, would be great viewing. She recently had an argument with fellow WTA lunatic, Rezai in the warm up before their match even started in Eastbourne (I think).

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

I really hope there's no match fixing going on with all these five setters, especially not the Isner-Mahut game.

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

What would you expect though? He's played 4 days in a row, there is no way that he could back it up in one day.

What do you mean? Im talking about Mahuts reaction after he lost because Gazza 11 was saying something like i hope matchfixing was not involved.

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

Again credit has to go to Isner here, a lot of other guys would of retired in this situation.
He's more respected than Novak Djokovic ever will be.

Sorry quoted the wrong post.

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

Isner out in straights. Poor bastard must be absolutely spent. Tipping he will probably go back to the hotel and sleep for at least as long as the match against Mahut!

Think about it, he retired in a semi final at Wimbledon due to fatigue. Isner who must be at least 10 times worse off, is still playing through and its only the 2nd round.

Re: 2010 Wimbledon

John Isner is an amazing bloke. Signing autographs even when he lost. Good on him for even turning up today. But he's still got doubles to play!

He'll be popular at the Aus Open next year. :thumbsu:
