he is not the player he was at the eagles but what is concerning this that he is playing as though he still can do what he did, thats why he gets tackled alot

I guess I get sick of seeing the Chris Judd knockers. This bloke is a superstar. I just watched the Carlton vs Swans game and this bloke had to do so
much on his own. He gets no support or protection like Ablett. He has to do it on his own like Buckley did at the Pies for years. He tackles, chases, smothers and works hard and cops the full attention of the opposition. He is not only one of the greats of the modern game but is one of the greats ever.

You dont think its the 1 mill in wages he gets a year and the drama he put over the whole move? He brought it on himself. Fact is hes a great player but the bad things hes done means he will never get respect for his playing abilities
soft spudHaven't been watching much Geelong games this year mate?I guess I get sick of seeing the Chris Judd knockers. This bloke is a superstar. I just watched the Carlton vs Swans game and this bloke had to do so

Was the icing on the cake that was the West Coast midfield back in his glory days.
Now, due to the poor quality of those around him he has been forced to become the in and under workhorse of the Carlton midfield. It's hardly surprising that his disposal efficiency has suffered accordingly.
Still a topline midfielder, just needs his teammates to step up to the plate and help him out.
His kicking by foot was terrible today and it seems to be getting worse by each week is he carrying something
CARRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAA SWAAANNNNNIIIIEEEEEEESSS !
Judd only stuck his hand up when the game was over. Bit of wallpaper over the cracks.
As far as champions go, contrast his game to when Adam Goodes was gunning it...and putting them to the sword when it mattered.
Judd Schmud.
On average yes, but Judd's best in the 2004-rnd 9 2007 was better than anyones. Hodgepodge pointed it out a while ago that Judd doesn't have the option of being a forward, playing an outside role or playing at HB.over their careers surely Goodes has been better than Judd
Thats never an issue.over their careers surely Goodes has been better than Judd

Exactly.
Got all of his touches when the game was over and he butchered the ball whenever he got it.
I think Judd is a superstar but he certainly wasn't today.
Its funny how many Colingwood supporters pot Chris Judd, I can remember when he was tossing up between moving to Carlton or Collingwood how many of the supporters were j**king off dreaming how he would look in a Collingwood jumper and how many premierships they would win, just like they did when they thought they would get J Brown, and remember Collingwood offered him $1 million + too.
Judd is still an elite midfielder, no question, he just needs more of the Carlton midfield to carry their share of the load, just like he had at WC from Cousins, Kerr, and to a less extent Fletcher and Embley.
Sorry Yarra, I was referring to Collingwood supporters in general. You are definitely in the minority when it comes to Collingwood supporters and Chris Judd.I am a Collingwood supporter and I started the thread on how good he is. Strange post
