Re: Collins is becoming a Cotchin?

came here to do a bit of research as I knew nothing of Collins ... if he is half as good as you all reckon cannot say it has not made my day if things go through.

In all honesty I hope it is a win/win for both clubs and Essenscum get the shafting.

Time will tell.

Re: Collins is becoming a Cotchin?

Grigg has put himself out on the line a bit given his declaration of wanting to come here.

If there is no trade able to be made where does that leave him at Carlton?

Wonder what Richmond have told him about thier committment to getting him that he would be so strong on wanting to come here. Do they owe it to him to make a trade.

Not a big fan of having a promising forward who grew up with Richmond posters on his wall being even suggested as a trade. If he becomes a star (and that is no certianty) good luck with the loyalty speel if Gold Coast or GWS come knocking.

Both clubs could lose lose out of this with no trade being made.

Not 100% sure that was true but rather a story someone with a big imagination posted.

Re: Collins is becoming a Cotchin?

Surely nahas, or white, or even jordy would have sufficesd

Why on earth would Carlton want either it those duds?
You need to be realistic.

really you are all idiots, Grigg is a much better player than Collins.

Grigg has the ability to just rack up touches in the midfield while Collins is a foward pocket player who imo isnt in our best 22 week in week out.

Nahas, White, Hicks and other players we may draft could eaisly play his role.

See, this is hardly the point. The point is that we had all the power in the trade and we fold like a deck of cards.

They're probably equal in terms of who is better than who. We get that.

Deep down u know it is not true. I honestly thought we would have to give up more than Grigg for him.

Wait to Grigg starts constantly bombing it and turning it over and u will change your tune.

agreed grigg will be a better player. also how will everyone feel if pick 46 turns out better than collins as well? just wondering as everyone wanted to give that up.

anyone in the know of juniors think we could get someone better there?

I don't think I've seen too many butcher the footy like Grigg does in the 35 years I've been following footy....he'll get his hands on the thing, but shut your eyes when he goes to drop it onto his boot. Good luck guys!

grigg has played around 20 more games in the same amount of seasons.

he had several injuries while collins only had a few minor (correct me if im wrong)

went on the carlton board, and they reckon grigg has more potential so yeh even they reckon we won the deal.

haha and right on cue all the carlton supporters claiming he miraculously became a dud in the last few days. last week he was a good player who they didnt want to get rid of and couldnt handle him leaving.

You ain't as safe on this board as you are on your own little precious Carlscum board , so to return to it, is probably your best option !

So does Jackson, Tuck, Priddis, Carrazo, Johnstone, etc.

Shame that even some of those guys are a better kick.
