Due to rookie promotions, the Crows were only ever going to use two picks in this draft, and they had three. The Crows gave you pick #67, which the Crows were never going to use (it would have been a pass), and pick #33, which was always on the table from the outset.

Having traded for Jacobs and traded away Griffin, The Crows will now use pick #14 and pick #61 ... two picks.

At the end of the day, the reality is you coughed up 2 draft picks for our 3rd string Bullants ruck who isn't in our best starting 22.

I rate Sammy, but the fact is he was a fringe player at our Club, just elevated from the rookie list. BTW you could have picked him up off the Rookie Draft last year for free!

A real club now? The Crows are a joke. As for cheating and hand outs, we breached the salary cap once. We now have new management in place, not to mention that we were heavily penalized and as such have paid our dues. When it comes to hand outs, what exactly are you referring to? I'm sure it isn't the hand outs and salary cap provisions that interstate teams like the Crows all get when they join the league.

We landed 2 tidy draft picks for our Bullants ruck, and Sammy gets more opportunity in a weaker list without any quality rucks ahead of him. Nice result.

He was never going to get a game ahead of Warnock or Kruezer, and we had some question marks over his athleticism. His tap work is VERY good however despite not being overly tall or having much of a leap. Around the ground is the problem area. Still much better than Maric. He'll improve your list. You'll be happy with Sammy.
