The Adelaide Football Club wishes to advise that Todd Viney has informed the club that he will be leaving his position as Assistant Coach at Adelaide to take up the newly created role of General Manager Player Development with the Melbourne Football Club.
Ok was that position just made up so we can be assured of getting his son? If so great work mfc
Look, I'm all for kids making their own decisions, but if Jack wants to play AFL football, he should do it at Melbourne.

On the HUN too.
Now to work out a way to get Jack Viney for less than our First round selection in 2012.
Todd Viney said, “I’m really ecstatic to be returning to the Club at such an exciting time. Jim, the board, and everybody at the Club have done an amazing job in revitalising it over the last couple of years. I look forward to assisting the Club to move forward in its quest to deliver the Melbourne members, supporters and past players a thirteenth premiership, and to consistently challenge for AFL premierships over a sustained period of time”.
**** YES! Welcome home Todd!
