If they were dating at the time it wouldn't be strange to have a GF using your computer. Ever been in a relationship Timmy?

Think you've given him too much credit mate.

Never said it was you doing it. Just said some people were. Why are you taking everything so personally?

I'm just interested in this topic, that's all and I'm tired of this "groupie" culture that's invading our sports. It needs to stop, but I doubt it would.

And I'm not the one taking this personally matey, I'm just giving out my opinions, like every chum here.

..............and the more time she was permitted on Gilbert's computer, the more dubious Gilbert's story about her "stealing" the photos becomes.

Really grasping at straws now Timmy.

The more time she had unsupervised access to his computer the more likely it is she could find the photos and email them to herself.

Might be a bit of a stretch to call this series of transactions a relationship.

Daft decision #1 taking the photos, #2 downloading pics onto computer #3 letting a young woman with issues riffle thru said computer.

Sorry, when you personally called me out when responding to another poster who was adding information to a discussion, I shouldn't have taken it personally, you're right.

And the more culpable Gilbert becomes for allowing it to happen. If she stole the photos within a five minute window when he went for a bog then maybe he has a case. If she had free reign over the computer for 2-3 hours then its going to be hard for him to prove that the entire contents of the computer werent for her to share, or at least to reasonably assume she thought could share. After all, she was apparently in a relationship...........

You're the one that originally had a go at me.

But you're right though, since you're never wrong. :thumbsu:

But that's my last post dealing with you!

Have you ever thought maybe Gilbert liked this young girl at one stage? Cant see why he wouldnt allow her to use his computer if they were in relationship all be it at very early stage. Maybe she didnt carry on like a nut job when he first started dating.

You got one part right, kudos to you.

as i said before, drink drive and get caught you lose your licence, drink drive and hurt somebody and you go to jail.

throw a cigarette but out the window of a car and get caught and you'll get a small fine, start a bushfire with that cigarette and you'll go to jail.

dont delete a rude photo of a high profile friend after he's asked you to delete it and you'd wanna make dam sure it doesnt fall into the wrong hands, because if it does your to blame, no one else, your also to blame for any loss of earnings, embarrassment, pain and suffering ect ect that the photo caused, the buck stops with you.

Dating? Is that what its called these days? It used to be called rooting.

"Relationship" used to be called stalking.

and here kiddies is an example of a Collingwood upbringing

And what if he did leave her to use her computer because he beleived he could trust her? How many people in relationships get up in the morning andleave there girlfriend or boyfriend at there house when they leave for work? He owes an apolagie to Riewoldt and Dal nothing more nothing less.

Apologies for not putting a sacractic smilie at the end of my post

If anybody can show me pics of the lovestruck couple "dating" - perhaps a picnic at the Botanic Gardens, going to the opera, visting the moonlight cinema, walking along the beach hand in hand, etc etc please post now..............

Otherwise spare me the "they were in a relationship" bollocks

What does he owe to Reiwoldt and Dal Santo? According to your apologia, it's all perfectly fine: Lemony Nicketts - a series of unfortunate events.

I dont really care who he owes an apology to. He has undermined StKilda's chances in 2011.

The bottom line is that there is no chance in hell that he can prove that she stole the photos.

From the Age today:

In an affidavit filed with the Federal Court, Riewoldt's manager Ricky Nixon alleges the 17-year-old admitted she ''stole'' the photos from a laptop belonging to Saints player Sam Gilbert.

I would take the word of a signed affidavit over some some attention seeker's ramblings any day.
