It's actually quite amusing that this guy has almost convinced himself that he is in touch with Big Ant studios and has all the answers. He just wants some attention the poor kid. Locked away in his basement somewhere.

Back on topic, Ross, will the AFL game announcement be made on the same day for both the X360/PS3 and Wii versions? I assume this would be the case. Also do you get fed info on how many preorders have been made on the game?

All announcements/screenshots/videos for the PS3/X360/PC versions will be done at the same time.

The Wii I am not on top of as we didn't develop it. I would assume that it will have a marketing campaign that includes specific screenshots and video as well (but I can't be sure).

now that this site's address has been posted on facebook again, let's all just sit back and wait for the all the 12 year olds and their dumb questions, "hey ross is the footy going to be egg shaped?", "hey ross will the grass on the ground be green?", ok well maybe not that dumb but still questions that are already answered in the FAQ.

Heya Rosco,
About the whole Wii vs PS3 vs Xbox vs PC thing.
If Wicked Witch are doing the Wii version, does that mean you assisted them with the basics and they are adding their own little touches to it ?(seeing as they don't have the capacity to make it as awesome as Big Ant do).

Firstly, Wicked Witch are a great studio! Daniel and the guys there are fantastic to deal with and I know they have really crunched long nights and weekends to get their game over the line. They have created a Wii game worth buying!!

We helped each other with some things, mostly by playing each others games. Their game is entirely different to ours, I would say ours is much more simulation and perhaps a little "serious" whereas WW's is targeted to the Wii and it's core casual audience (not sure if Daniel from WW would agree, but I think he would). You should buy both! :)

I'll see if I can get him to post - perhaps you could start a Wii Game Thread if he is interested.

I won't bother posting on here about the FB page any longer - I think I've given them too much oxygen already and it's distracting the thread.... would have thought the guy/girl might have gone into hiding - I certainly would have! :)

Haha yeah true especially with my onslaught! Hey Ross is there any further information you can offer us about the game that maybe we havent thought of? Within your boundaries of info of course thanks.
