They are so crap down there...I rang yesterday to get my contact details changed so they could tell me if they are selling it early...I told them the full story and the chick there said "oh its because W.A. has a different release date"

Most EB's are clueless. Ever since Glenno first confirmed and reported the break I've called a handful of EB's.


Everywhere was telling me how it'll come out on the 21st, and they'd lie or just have no idea.The only place with half a brain was Chadstone and the employee there was aware of the break, but she said she still had to wait for the green light.


For a company that specialises in games you'd think they would be better than this. It seems the only thing they're good for is trading in and their 7 day return policy (read "hire"), but even then they're pretty useless.

IIRC, Ross said that there was an option for free kicks... I think he said you could turn 50m penalties on/off, or you could turn protection of the marking player on/off. Or both?

Maybe check the settings?

I couldnt see a 50m option but I could see one for marking protection. I think its in my best interest I leave that on though hahaha

They don't have the stock and won't have it until tomorrow lunchtime. This goes fr ALL EBs in Victoria.

Ok, Mitho. Every EB has said they have no stock, except for Chadstone. Both when I called and when I went in I was told the same thing by different people. Both of those times I was also told that the reason why they had a small amount of stock was due to their immense order (for everyone that doesn't know, Chadstone is the biggest shopping centre in Australia) and it just so happened that it was spread over a couple of shipments.

Hell, they could have been lying but they have no reason to. Most EB's I've been to have been pretty shoddy like others a saying, but I've never had a problem with Chadstone EB, especially the employees that I had talked with on this matter.

Brisbane stores will be recieving stock tomorrow, I called them all up and that is what they are saying. They have also told me if I bring in a picture of the receipt + game picture then they will sell it too me.

Also there does seem to be the play on if advantage rule however doesnt seem to apply if you kick a goal but then get infringed. Twice its been brought back for me.

I will say the attention to detail in the broadcast is absolutely brilliant. I love it.

Big W on the eastern shore in Hobart say they haven't got stock yet, EB in Hobart (where i pre ordered) said they haven't got stock yet and have heard nothing from head office probably because it's the weekend and no one can be bothered with e-mails on the weekend and it's just unlucky i live in hobart and not WA but to try again tomorrow.

1. Why does kicking in count as a stat? Silly mistake????
2. Why can we not see individual player stats at the end of the game?

Sorry for being blunt, but who gives a shit about unrealistic scores??!

If this was true FIFA would have to be played for 2 minutes a half so that you can never score more than 1 goal in a match due to 90% of the matches involving 1 goal being scored!

It's a game, let it be a game. And after all, unrealistic scores mean nothing when if you're playing a season the simulations come from the same minutes that you've been playing so stats and scores are going to be very comparable.

Would also like to know when kicking out didn't become a stat? I was sure it still was and is the main reason Chris Newman ends up with 25+ disposals per match (as I certainly don't see him touch the ball that much unless he's kicking out!).The salary cap will still be there when offline, but it won't stop you from making a full team and playing with them offline in your own league.Just fwiw it's MS that are really holding Tru Blu/BigAnt from bringing patches out.Flick the right stick to bump.Well...I did on Friday.

HBk are you serious? Firstly, having realistic scores and stats is a huge part of why many people wanted to get this game. Of course the gameplay improvements were going to be great, but it was also the improvements they had made with stats and in depth analysis after each game that people were also interested in.

Secondly, if you ever played fifa and were any good, you would realise that 5-6 minute halves were perfect on the hardest difficulty. Based on your analysis of Fifa you probably played on semi pro and smashed it. However Pro was too hard.

Lastly, kicking in has never counted as a stat. If the player plays on this is then counted as a stat. Maybe back in the day, when statistics were not as important as they are today, it counted as a stat. However I assure you kick in's do not count as a stat!
