I said earlier that if you paid debit or cash you should get cash back. Trade ins or vouchers will get you store credit, and I'm not sure about credit cards.

I have rang like 15 places all over Melbourne big w's jb eb game kmart I have called everywhere and everyone is saying Thursday although one lady at jb said if they have released it early somewhere else then they will to but maintains won't have stock til monday or Tuesday

Just called EB Chadstone. A very nice, but slightly deluded man told me that the game isn't coming out until the 21st.

GAME Camberwell informs me the same, not out till "next Thursday".

Just got off the horn to JB Frankston (where my pre-order is), saying they won't know from their head office until probably lunch time tomorrow whether or not they will break it.

I dare say that if there's enough places selling it from tomorrow morning, they'll break it. Chick said stock is due in tomorrow morning as well.

I tried the following stores in Werribee Plaza:
Big W: NFI,
EB: sticking to a "Thursday release date" line,
K-Mart: see big w above,
Game: "We haven't been told to sell it yet, but street date is Thursday". So implying they have stock but won't sell.
JB: "not released yet" althogh the sceptic in me says as they have 20% off games finishing today, they are holding back anyway. They did have display boxes with a $94.98 price though.

Going to try target in hoppers now.

One place in SA isn't much at all

Was that Big W at Marion? I went there yesterday and the guy at the games counter seemed to have no idea that there was even an AFL game. He looked through all the stock for a copy, and then checked the computer and said it will be released on Thursday.

Has anyone in SA called any of the other Big W's or Targets?

point cook update. got a different guy compare to yesterday. this morning they have recieved no stock unfortunately. but good news is that monday is the go. i asked him how many copies he was getting in and he said about 90!

No go at target hoppers either, girl said they're getting it this week but not sure what day.

EB Northland said Thursday. I asked if they will sell it early given that other stores are already selling it and she said "Probably, we'll let you know"

Hey mate,

I rang them yesterday morning at 8am due to a tip that someone bought it on Friday night. The young man on the phone said "yes we have it in stock" I said "can you put one aside for me?"

He said "you will be fine we have plenty of copies"

So my wife and I drove to Marion BIGW and I went to the guy I spoke to on the phone asked him for AFL Live.

He then said "oh sorry man I didnt know we arent meant to give it out til the 21st"

I was so angry, it was a 50 minute drive for me to Marion. My wife got stuck into him and the department manager came over and my wife quized him about the whole thing. He went completely bright red and denied selling copies. He then went on a BS spill about how he could get fined $200,000 etc.

Later on that day I rang the same Department Manager and told him I had the proof of WA selling it and accused him of selling copies. He got very very defensive which I thought was unusual.

So in closing. They have plenty of copies at Marion and are not selling. Anyone from Adelaide keep pestering this guy. He would have to be one of the biggest f-wits I have ever met.

My cousin is a department manager for another BIG W store in Adelaide. I didn't want to pester her with this issue as she is on Holidays. I have since called her and she will do some digging around today for me.

Just spoke to EB Games in Chirnside Park. He said they'll release it on arrival, he said that he doesn't expect it until either Tuesday or Wednesday night though.

Will be calling tomorrow at every half hour break.
