After playing nearly every team in this competition, i have not come up a back men or backline strong enough or quick enough to negate me. I am able to comment this with some confidence as i am the highest goal kicker in the comp. Is it just me or is this competition starting to get weaker, or is it that im getting better? Only one player/team has tested me this year Brenan (Beuy) and i still managed to get a solid 2 goals on him..even Xavs backline was very average as i managed to kick 2 with little chances while also playing up the ground at times. With locky back in the team next to me, i will be even more dangerous as i wont be taking the best backmen, its a scary thought i know

If anyone honestly thinks this is the real Nicho you are delusional. Obviously someone taking the pi55. After the rubbish posted last year by ‘Ready to Bang’ from St Bedes who was purporting to be various Beauy and De La players we should not have to cop idiots getting on here claming to be someone they are not. Xavs just too good today. Not too many teams will be taking 4 points off De La at Dairy Bell this year.

Fantastic game of football to watch ......( Lets try and forget about the morons in white).
De La showed plenty ...but no doubt will be disappointed with the way they were over run by the red and black. Both sides where under manned so more great battles await us in season 2011!!

A game of the highest quality. Xavs to good and when they got on a roll they were very hard to stop. Played much smarter footy when going to the scoring end and thoroughly deserved the win. The boy who kicked 6 most impressive. De La actually pretty pleased with the effort. Some real quality to come back in to the team, as I’m sure there is for Xavs.
I see reference to the ‘morons in white’. In fairness I thought one of them was pretty good. In regard to the other one the less said the better. How two officials can umpire in such contrasting styles must have been incredibly frustrating for the players.
Some interesting results. Amazed by the Scotch game and that loss really hurts Uni Blues. Now 5 legitimate contenders, which is 4 more than 2010.

100% Correct - He is the same twit that did the Xavs v Scotch game !! The sooner he realises that no one came to watch him strut around , putting his stamp on the game the better!!

Thats the funniest thing i have ever read.. As for Scotchies, what went wrong against beuy? They come out and play unbelieveable footy against the old xavs and then fall apart.. Do the Xavs have anything to worry about come finals time. Do they have the depth to be a real contender when push comes to shove. I dont think they want it bad enough cause in the close games, eg- scotch: The xavier boys were beaten for the ball when it really matters most.. what do people think.. Or did the Xavs just run out of legs.. did they have good players out that they got back agsint de la on saturday? fill me in

Went down to Shark Park on the weekend and watched Beauy absolutely obliterate Scotchies. It was evident that a superior work rate and desire for the footy was the reason the Sharks smashed them.
I have posted on this board before with my concerns that Ollie Webber was not up to scratch on certain areas but this kid can play the game. Copped his fair share of critisicm after 0 goals vs De La Salle and it was questioned whether he could stand up in big games. 6 goals and BOG in a dominant performance, now leading the Coleman with 32. all this for a kid who only played his first game of football last year.

They were 5 goals down against a good side in De La and came back for what was a seriously good win.

Ditto. Ridiculous comment. The efforts of Xavs on the weekend deserve the highest praise. Against the only club to regularly put them to the sword and on a ground they have not won at for many many years they came from 3 goals down on the last to win going away. They are a quality side that will take some beating this year.
I think Fitzroy will beat old xavs after the queens birthday weekend. They have a few handy players that your beloved xavs need to watch out for

Think this is very accurate. Brighton clearly struggling and fitzroy also appear to be destined for relagation. Xavs and de la clearly top 2 and after scotches efforts on the weekend you would have to put beuy in for 3rd and scotch just rounding off teh top 4 with st bedes an unlucky 5th.
I think it might come down to some big ins and outs around finals time. should get a better indication colser to the finals but do any teams have any superstars set to return for finals?
