Here's a random question:
Is Trading in Gary Ablett after rd9 2011 a trap.
Is he only now hitting form after no preseason and will burn for the next 16 rounds or is he going to run into too many teams that will tag and block him out and average 90?

A lot of it will come down to covering injuries and byes along with having a solid starting team.

Are the new prices/breakevens on FanFooty accurate during the round? When I look occasionally some of the breakevens are over 200 or 80% of the team have breakevens of over 150.

I think the SC ones often haven't been updated.

Ah, OK thanks. Another couple of questions:

1. Is having Suckling and Heppell as D6 and D7 too risky?

2. Why is it that when I check the progressive SC scores after quarter time they are always really high? Routinely players will have 70+ points after quarter time but end up only scoring 110, they can't always have just faded.

1. Both look like playin 24 + getting heaps of it. It's a risk, but not toooo risky.
2. Don't check at qtr time. Hell, don't check at HT. It's always inflated.

Firstly, I am a complete nobody when it comes to supercoach. I mean, I'm borderline obsessed, but it is my first season.

I have been thinking all week about 1 player, Jimmy Bartel.
Absolutely love him as a player, dead set superstar but how much of a keeper is he in supercoach terms?

Would it be sensible to hold onto him for the entire 24 rounds? Or get rid of him just before his bye in the finals? Or dump him now and upgrade him to a Priddis/Pendlebury type?

I'm sitting with 12 trades left (have done my two for round 11), and my midfield reads: Judd, Boyd, Swan, Mundy, Bartel, Burgoyne (Harris, Smith, Hipperd) and MPP in Sylvia, Pavlich and Goodes up forward.

I've got 10 which I'm burning down to 4 with team finalisation...so, I think no is probably right.

Ah.

Gys is just starting to hit his strides and racking up possies with high efficiency (80-90%) - 111 pts last week and averaging 81. Game time is a minor concern but in the form he's in he won't be dropped.

With Swallow however you pretty much know what you're gonna get..which is solid. Not sure.

Heppell will keep his average. Kid's a star.
