^ Of course he wouldn't.

It's a good poll and the results may be skewed slightly but still think the Richmond duo are stronger.

Pretty easy to make a comment like all the coaches would select so and so without backing it up.

I voted the Tigers duo obviously but i sure to rate the Melbourne boys. Would be happy to have any combination of 2 of them at Tigerland.

Four of the best up and coming mids in the game and a very difficult poll. However if I had to choose, I would take Scully and Trengove just for the fact that I believe that Scully will be the best of the lot while the others being fantastic in their on right.

i reckon the poll should be cotchin/martin v scully/trengove v fyfe/morabito. on another note, melbourne in my view stuffed their selections up.scully/martin or scully/morabito would've been a better combo.bonus for the tiges & freo.

and you can add Heppell/Melksham :rolleyes:

I'd take the Richmond pair.

Cotchin > Trengove
Martin >_ Scully

I think Scully will be the best out of the 4.........at GWS

lol @ martin/cotchin winning this poll

Every coach in the AFL would choose Scully/Trengove.

That's funny considering arguably the best Coach in the business at the moment said that out of all the youngsters in the competition if he could have 1 it would be Martin.

Mick Malthouse obviously knows a player when he sees one. ;)

Might have a change of heart when he's coaching the Scully / Trengove next year ;-). Well Trengove atleast Surely if he wants to continue coaching this would be his dream job outside of Buckley standing aside.

Cotchin had 30 quality touches tonight and an amazing goal.

Martin wasn't as prominent only had 22 and kicked 5 goals 1 3 of them from 55+.

Pretty sure anyone who had a clue would pick these two blokes.

IMO:

1.Cotchin
2.Martin
3. Trengove
4. Scully

Scully/Trengove for mine.

Cotchin is the best out of the four but Martin is almost as overated as Hill.

Fyfe however will be better than all four. He marks like a FF and racks up possies like an inside mid. Has even kicked goals like a small forward, absoloute jet.

Morabito hasnt shown enough yet :/

Yet he disposes of the ball like a VFL reserves player...

Not a lot separating them, both have the best of both midfield types, Martin and scully athletically gifted, martin with power and scully with speed. Then there's trengove and cotchin two of the most natural players in the comp. I'd choose the Melbourne tandem however.

Martin and Cotchin are both faster than Scully (Martin by a fair amount, too). Scully's athletic gifts are endurance and agility.

Martin would be, Cotchin maybe

Martin runs a 2.89, but Trengove goes 2.97 iirc. (over 20m)

Scully is quicker than Trengove.

Martin wouldn't be clearly quicker than Scully.

Cotchin isn't slow, but I think he would be closer to Trengove then Martin.

Martin, Scully and Trengove have shared an AFL oval three times and every time the Melbourne boys have out-shined Martin. I wouldn't trade either for Martin, although I recognise his ability.

And even though Cotchin has played double the games of the other three he averages less possessions. He doesn't get enough of the ball.
