So for pick #37 we effectively get Maric and Morris - very happy with that.

Need to leave PSD option open and see what falls through, or what we can push through.

Will be interesting to see if anything falls through late for the players weve laid out on the table - I'd imagine their names to be Nason, Farmer, Connors, Morton, White, McGuane, Thursfield.

I would love to offload McGuane, even if its for pick #100, and pay 1/2 his wage. Whatever it takes.

And i would implore the tigers to speak to mick malthouse about what they did at collingwood to turn Ben Reid from a so-so forward into an AA CHB and put those processes in place with Ben Griffths and swing Astbury to CHF.

Outside Connors, if you were an opposition club would you offer a 2nd round pcik for any of them?

McGuane would be looking at delisting if not for his contract. Thursfield knows he is purely back up these days, and not in our first 22 if the kids are fit. Farmer has been facing demands for delisting from his own fans all year. Nason is rumoured to have already been told he's gone.

All of these outside Connors are looking at either delisting this season or next. Why would a club pay a premium to get any of them?

I think we've been very shrewd so far this trade period. The acquisitions we've made are all purely based on team needs. Morris to play that running back role with Newy and allow Deledio to move into the middle alongside Foley, Cotch & Martin & the obvious need of a ruck.

Maybe we just see what the PSD has to offer now and pick up whatever we may want in the bargain bin without giving anything up.
