yeah, in kapundawas this in adelaide?
did he pick the numbers himself or was it an easi-pick?
were you with him when it happened?
couldn't be a more deserving kid, he's only 22, has been working 3 jobs to save for a houseNice to know the easi-picks aren't a scam....
What's he going to do with it? Is he well-off to begin with?
He is now!
I heard the Port Augusta one put itself out, well all the wine casks it encountered in its journey did.![]()
My heart and prayers go out to the family, friends and relatives of that 16 year old girl gunned down in Walkley Heights. I could not imagine what the lady who witnessed the incident is going through about now. Having seen it and allegedly tried to stop him, she would be in a whole lot of physiological mess now.
could not be further from the truth...Most likely meth involved in the behaviors of her 22 yo bf(reported) who did this deed..
could not be further from the truth...
POPULAR FiveAA breakfast show announcer Jon Blake has quit the station to join a rival radio network.
FiveAA late night talkback host Bob Francis announced on air last night that Blake, the funnyman of the station's top-rating breakfast program, has signed with ''another radio network''.
''This is hot news folks - he will not appear on tomorrow morning's (Friday's) breakfast show, he's finished,'' Francis said.
''Sean O'Brien, the general manager of dmg Radio said : 'Jon Blake has decided to sign with another radio network and we wish him all the best for the future.
''Wow, that's all anybody is saying at the moment.
''Wouldn't everybody like to know what he was offered from the other radio station. I'd love to know.''
FiveAA later released a brief statement confirming Blake would not be on today's morning show alongside Keith Conlon, John Kenneally, Jane Doyle and Chris McDermott.
Blake and Triple M have not returned AdelaideNow's phone calls.
Over the years Blake's characters such as Keefey the Weatherman, the Chardonnay-sipping Crows' fan Charles Herringbone, his dead-on impersonation of Premier Mike Rann, his clever songs and his legendary Behind Closed Doors segment have brought him to a point where he is arguably Adelaide's funniest man.
In an interview with SA Weekend magazine in August, a frustated Blake said he felt his talent was being wasted.
"I don't know what they (management) are thinking. They just say you are the funny guy, you make funny phone calls. I get 10 minutes of air time a day if I'm lucky,'' he said.
"I have got more to offer than that and they just won't let me."
FiveAA sports show host Graham Cornes tweeted last night: ''Blakey gone! Life won't be the same. He is the most talented man in Australian radio.''
