Well he's mates with Mifsud, so I have absolutely no reason to believe that what he's quoted as saying by Mifsud isn't what he actually said. Even if Demetriou may or may not have it out for Rendell, Mifsud certainly didn't.

Just a pity that Tyson Edwards went to Port. It gives you an obvious comeback to my obvious comeback to your post, which is that Andrew McLeod thinks Tyson Edwards is a w***er.
EDIT: While we're talking about what people think, did you know that Rendell referred to the Burgoynes as 'great blokes'? So if you believe the rest of what Rendell said, it only stands to reason that you'd believe that too and will immediately be apologizing to Peter for all the horrible things you've said about him.

I would think Andrew McLeod would know Rendell a bit more intimately (in a heterosexual male sort of way) than you or Demetriou.

Then again most of the time every time the crows do something bad, Port manage to upstage them by doing something worse. Just like 7 months ago when the crows kicked the lowest ever score at etihad against the saints then a week later Port kicked the lowest score at AAMI against collingwood.

Your an idiot. Rendell is not looking at kidnapping Aboriginal children like what happened in the early days....
He was talking about providing an opportunity where IF THE ABORIGINAL TEENAGERS WANTED TO, they could attend an organisation designed to help them adapt to how full on an demanding AFL life is. This is not a kidnapping, this would be offered and could be turned down if the individual felt this was some kind of backward white supremacist culture manipulation attempt.
This applies to Aboriginal teenagers who are playing football in remote areas, who have had no exposure to what an AFL schedule is like. Aboriginals within bigger cities and populated areas that play in Local competitions like the SANFL under 17's are better prepared for what AFL will be like than an Aboriginal like Liam Jurrah who only put footy boots on for the first time after being recruited...
Stop grasping for the extreme far fetched racism call and look at who Rendall has recruited, been involved with, mentored etc in the past 35 years. Look at Raph Clarkes comments, look at Andrew McLeods comments, Look at the FACTS about the aboriginal attrition rate.

Going by what Trigg said in his interview it is indeed his concept of the aboriginal academy that was the major problem.
Act indignant all you like. I'm betting Rendell has helped more aboriginal people during his involvement in the game than you could ever hope to in your lifetime.
