any reports on ellard brock aj etc

There hasn't been a lot of talk about Joeseph on the forum, but he's been doing a good job for the team by keeping the oppositions best crumbing forward quiet and sticking up for youngsters when they get into a push and shove. His jumper punch on Brett Goodes would get 2 or 3 weeks at least if caught on camera.

I've only seen him play one V.F.L game in person but it looks like we have a lot to work with. He's got good pace on him, has Dustin Fletcher like long arms that allow him to somehow squeeze in a spoil and he can give the footy a decent roost. What he needs to work on in addition to his lack of muscles is the decision making on his kicks. A few times he tried to centre the ball in a way that needed an inch perfect kick rather than playing the percentages and going long down the line. He will overcome this with experience. He also fumbled quite a bit, which I'm hoping was down to the nerves of it being his first propper game against Men.

He has 3 years to get to AFL level by that time we should have a bit of a indication. It was a bold move to take him as a first round pick. He must have something special, his father was a different type of player and smaller. I thought his old man was very average for the Dockers. This draft was apparently pretty weak we will wait and see in a few years. The clubs first 2 picks, we were looking outside the box as we speak.

Interesting about the outs.

No problem about Walker being out as he should be given the extra week to be ready for Essendon, but what of McCarthy and Bootsma?

Where's Dale????
Lodge also still a no show, even though not listed as injured.

Also Carter ?

Bad kicking is bad football. This time it was lethal.

This is not good, we lost all games, we need them to make the finals in case of injuries to players.

Carlton midfielder Brock McLean racked up 38 touches and two goals for the Blues but is still likely to battle to get a look at senior level, according to Blues VFL coach Robert Hyde.

''He just has to keep doing this and when he gets an opportunity and he will, he just has to play super, super good,'' he said.

Robbie Warnock also made an impressive return from injury, while Bret Thornton kicked three goals.
