I had a fair bit riding on them too as they were >15.5 in most of my multis...never thought for a second that would be the leg that would get close :confused:

Was torn between wanting a return on investment and the endless laughs that would ensue if the bummers actually lost to GC tonight :p

Did you happen to watch the game at all mate? Truth be told I was watching the bombers game instead so only caught scores and couldn't believe me eyes. If so, did they genuinely look as bad as their score indicated? StKilda aren't exactly in the top echelon of teams either I wouldn't have thought.

It was a poor game truth be told. Neither of those teams will trouble anyone of substance this season.

The Dogs simply cannot get their forward line sorted; anything forward of centre is a mess and is borne out by the stat raised before the game. They are 17th in the league at scoring efficiency (scores per I50).

So with the their forward line applying little pressure the Dogs tend to have to play from centre through to defense. Saints still handle themselves well enough to convert that sort of opportunity.

May as well play three divisions in this league.
