Some time this week BigFooty will be taken off line for a day or two.
When we return we will be running new Xenforo software, just like BigSoccer.com:

The final theme has yet to be finalised, so don't get too worried about colours and styles yet.
The BigSoccer guys have made a user guide for the new system which you might like to check out. It will answer just about all of your questions:

Why change?
Generally Xen may not have the number of features and plugins that VB has, but it is lighter on the servers and we feel it is more user friendly with built-in features such as "Like" for posts, better alerts when people quote your posts or mention your user name, better Private Messaging and so on.
