just a crumber off the packs but he can jump for his size and midfield in future he pinned a guy last week for holding the ball on the h/b flank as well as 5 goals

Well I already told him from his NAB Cup performances I was going to nickname him Speedy after Speedy Gonzales. Gonzales is a mexican name thus the reason I went for Speedy

Run in straight at the goal, head over the ball, kick straight through the ball etc etc ... they were going straight as a dye last week..

I get a feeling that we are building a forward press for the finals.....I think Bucks desiged the last one when he was forward's coach in 2010 and he had no say when Mick scrapped it last year. I think guys like Sinclair and Mooney are in this year's version....shoot me if i'm wrong

Bucks gets a bit of credit for the forward press on this board, but it was clearly a Malthouse invention...

It is not a strategy that is confined to the forwardline.

Wow what a spectacular start to caolan's career in Australia, absolutely delighted for him, he's gonna scare some people out there!

Means I have to re-write my BFN Irish review article but I'm more that happy to do so!

His ability to read the play has improved dramatically through the year. He tackles well, can take a mark out in from of his face and above the head, and is a surprisingly decent set shot.

Over estimates his disposal skill a little bit some times. I've seen him turn the ball over when you could see what he was trying to do, but he didn't have the poise or weighting on the kick to get it done.

I reckon he'd be told to go out there (assuming he's a sub) in the 2nd half of the game and lay a certain number of I50 tackles and to run his opponent into the ground. If he can crumb a goal or be a hit up target then great.

Oh and I was watching the game right next to all the young players on Sunday. They were all using the very original nickname. "Moons"
