When I said I didn't want a Jason Blake in our team, I meant I didn't want an undersized ruckman. There's nothing wrong with being 190cm but for a ruckman it's not exactly desirable unless you have Naitanui's leap. But I don't think Darling would be suited to the ruck anyway...

Just reminiscing about a player who was drafted in 1994 and made his debut as a small forward in the same year, picking up a premiership along the way - Shane Bond.
Murray Newman reminds me of Bond'y, similar build, superb balance and can kick goals.
Who knows maybe Newman can pick up a premiership medal in his debut year too!

The Govo is pretty much the same height as Lynch and has a sweet vertical leap. We have seen Roughead go into the ruck for Hathorn at times as well, nothing but handy.
