As much as it pains me to admit this, we needed Pears or Hooker to mind Tarrant.

Melksham still contributes but floats in and out of taking the game and yielding under pressure, which pretty much is our entire team with the opposition having worked us out.

Jesus christ, I guess all the Stanton bashers have found their new guy to lay into. What the hell is wrong with supporters who have a go at the players who play for the jumper.
leave the kid alone. For all those saying he should be dropped, who should come in for him????
Jake hasn't had the best year but he puts in effort week in week out. I would much rather see someone making a mistake trying to create something for us with a kick to advantage than a sideways short kick.

We must be watching a different game, Melksham is lazy as anything. Everytime I notice a player jogging towards a potential spoil only to be outmarked, its Melksham. Player jogging behind his man to see him get an open mark on the wing, Melksham.
Absolute spud

Great mark though in the 1st

I'm usually one of the first to defend him but bloody hell it is getting tough.

His ability to make a decision is non existent. You can see his brain slowly ticking when he has the ball it is thinking ".......................................... *crickets* ............................. *tumble weed*..................... **** it, I better kick it"

I don't anything about the guy other than what I've seen on gameday but does anyone else get the feeling he is lazy? His endurance is still miles off what an AFL players should be plus he is built like a stick.

One of the laziest players on our list. He refuses to chase and added shirking contests to his repertoire.

TRB won't drop him. I'd be bringing Zaka, Ryder and Stanton back this week and make Melksham sit on the pine as the sub.

I refuse to believe he is lazy. I don't think he ever recovered from pre-season.
Sometimes you can look lazy, but it's the best you can do.

protected species - surprised colyer was chopped ahead of melksham. guessing the coaching panel want to get back to the same side which was near undefeated in the first half of the season.

He wasn't that bad last week, he improved, id say the coaching panel is hoping he can build on that performance instead of just dropping him. Coyler has been in and out of the side all year, and his kicking was horrible.

I think people need to realize that Melksham isn't as bad as everyone calling for his head is, and this is part of our future.
