If I was Caddy, North would be the obvious and logical team to join. Location of the club for his family, premiership window about to open, lots of kids his age and family history. Pick 14 for Caddy. Get it done!!

I would have thought you'd dream of playing for the club you barracked for as a kid.
When can Caddy's paperwork be actually lodged? Is it from next mon or from this week?
Sportsnewsfirst is utter dross. Completely disregard and preferably avoid reading at all.Sports News First reporting Caddy heading to geelong

Josh Caddy's happy to join St Kilda, Geelong or North, will just depend on who gets the deal done. The Cats' compensation pick will appeal.

Now it warms up. We would be third in line if your believe speculation re picks.
Depends on how much we want him I guess
The Cats money will appeal even more.
It looks as though Geelongs money and the GC's trade pressure, may divert Josh away from his first choice (us).
If Josh's first choice is us then surely North will make sure they get the deal done. Plus someone has stated that the money/contract wasn't much of a difference between us and cats.
Could also be that Caddy doesn't want to end up in the PSD, so he's chosen 3 melbourne clubs to try and give GC what they want. If he'd just picked one, he lowers his chances.
Exactly, for all the wank we hear about Hirdy 'impressing' draft prospects, we've got the greatest player of all time, who's said has the most demanding presence, woman want to be with him, men want to be him, yet he just drifts on the wayside.
Our club has to get its ******* act together.

News emerging from St Kilda is that the saints strongly believe they will get Caddy in the trade.
Gold Coast only have 1 selection in the first round, and are after another as they want to add more elite talent to their squad this year.
Geelong is offering their compensation pick for losing Gary Ablett which is not active for this draft.
The saints however are happy to part ways with their first round pick in this years draft at no 12, which could be all the difference
