1-1 against Charlton without a manager, not the worst result in the world. Let's hope we get one soon, preferably someone whos actually competent enough to look at players before they sign them.

Last gasp win for the Hornets over Huddersfield 3-2. Penalty to win, sounds a bit of a dubious decision
Our Italian contingent starting to gell.
Gianfranco getting us to play football on the deck, something unusual for Watford

16 points from 18 now for Palace, hard not to get excited. One of the favorites for relegation pre-season and lost first 3, but Dougie Freedman without serious money has turned us around. 3 away wins in a row at Charlton (1st at the Valley in over 40 years), at Bolton (first ever) and now Wolves (1st in a long time) has us in top 6 and Zaha must be worth 10mil now. His winner last night was a cracker, pity won't see it on Fox highlights. Long, long way to go but nice to be up there, after upheavals of last 3 years, including being less than an hour from being wound up.

very exciting. good mix of youth and experience with delaney at the back (despite his error last night). dougie's done a terrific job with the transfers, sending ambrose to brum and making tough calls on guys like scannel. bolasie's been great, ward looks solid, and we finally have some depth. great to see :thumbsu:

hope we can get a comfortable win against wolves at home because i don't feel too confident so far.

shebby singh has said a new manager isn't very close but things will start happening next week

Must say I also doubt we'll win, another bore draw would be my guess. We should've lost to Forest earlier this week, lets just hope our luck holds.

leicester in amzing form! 5 from 5 at home this season.
5 wins in a row.
ever since i bagged pearson and nugent (5 goals in 4 games) they have been brilliant.

absolutely thrilled with second at the break!

as with the palace fans, its hard not to be excited!

what are your thought on shearer wanting to be manager? think he'd do a decent job?

Well from what I heard he's currently the favourite for it, must say though that personally I wouldn't go for him. Yes he's a Rovers legend, but the only previous experience he's had was for the few games before Newcastle got relegated, that sort of record doesn't exactly fill you with confidence. Personally I'd say Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be a much better pick up, at least Ole's got experience with the Man U reserves and over at Molde in Norway.

Not sure he'd jump at that though. He turned down Villa not even 3 months ago, so to me Blackburn would seem unlikely

i don't like shearer, was one of my favourites until he retired and i realised he's a bit of a knob. solskjaer i think said he doesn't want the job(?) but would be amazing if he took the job

i was hoping for 'arry but not a great chance you wouldn't think

inb4 eric black til 2017

I doubt Black will get the job given how we've performed the last few games. Solskjaer does seem unlikely, but he hasn't completely ruled himself out of the running, just denying contact between him and Rovers.

Your probably right, but I was under the impression that Villa moved to sign Lambert before they approached Solskjaer and that was the reason why he withdrew from negotiation.

Latest man being linked to the Rover's job is Sven-Goran Eriksson, who's only been pimping himself around Europe for the last 30 years. Could actually be a worse manager than Kean was.

Why isn't Alan Curbishley being linked to either of the jobs?

Cockney. Probably scared of crossing the Watford divide.

Seriously he has been linked to so many jobs, but never seems overly interested in taking one.

Maybe he's still on a payout from West Ham?
