A club will take the chance on him given his talent, just probably not in the 1st round i reckon, especially if he needs another reco.

He will get drafted, he may just slide down the order a bit. At the end of the day, the only thing it will really change is the initial expectations on him (less as he won't be a top 10-15 pick (not that I have any idea where he would go, just guessing)) and his initial starting wage (1st rd picks get a higher initial wage for their first contract)

I think it'll see him picked late in the second round now.

It's a bit like the Callum Bartlett scenario a couple of years ago. The kid's clearly talented but injuries may hold him back maybe long term.

Plus in such a good draft there's extra pressure to get a long term performer.

Maybe a side that has a bunch of picks in the 1st and 2nd round will be prepared to roll the dice on selecting him, knowing that if it doesn't work out they will have 3 or 4 others who could easily make it from those rounds.

As Juzzo said, been cleared of an ACL, will still be missing 8-12 weeks with a PCL. As a result won't test at the combine.

We will use our second round pick to get the trifecta of body related sliders (Heppell/Kavanagh/Menzel) after the Selwood debacle all those years ago...

Having dodgy knees will make a difference, and may expell him from the first round. Teams are less likely to take a risk in the first round than they were. However, I'm still certain he won't last much longer after that. As was mentioned elsewhere in this thread, Menzel just ticks too many boxes to be ignored for long.
Assuming he does go, say, mid 2nd round, then the team that picks him up will have scored themselves a bargain.

He will still be picked in the first round IMO. The clubs that I see taking a risk on him will be those with multiple picks inside the first round such as the Demons, Dogs and Saints if they lose Goddard.

He will not get past the Crows they can afford the punt... Their injury list minimal they've already picked up a high quality midfielder in mini draft from last year ... They would be looking at him and thinking why not roll the dice

Highly probable. They have the picks and they know they will take a little time. They can afford the risk, unlike many other clubs. Mind you, if they can keep their list together, they are going to be something in 3 to 5 years.
