I was fortunate enough to watch that drubbing. Certainly the best side the A league has ever seen. It's an absolute honor watching this fantastic team go about their business week in week out.

They should change their name to Brisbalona.

Chances are we are becoming an arrogant club. Not a good thing in my estimation in the big picture, but winners are grinners. And 5 - 0 against the Victory always looks sexy/

That said, forever grateful to Ange with his work with us. But as John Mellencamp once sang, life goes on. And now he's with the scum!

Hell, Collingwood fans think Malthouse is scum! So we have every right to call Ange the same thing now! Wonderful legacy, fantastic manager, but left us to go with the team we hate the most.

Brisbane are the champs, Victory have a lot of work to do, Ange wanted a challenge well he has one!! and I am looking forward to it hopefully one day bring back the glory.

ummm... no Ange never had a contract at the roar in his second year, in fact it was only a verbal agreement, he could have walked out of the roar at anytime during that season. Victory pounced and offered him a chance to come home.

blame your own club for not signing him up and offering him a long term written contract.

There needs to be more Victory fans like you in this world! The good ones are all Geelong supporters too! Even better as I am a massive fan of both the town and the team

Sydney FC have been almost insignificant as of late (and hopefully will continue to do so). The problem is I have sadly encounters some extremely obnoxious Victory fans which really fueled my resentment of MVFC. After that, its probarbly the that even after winning 2010 - 2011, Melbourne never gave us much respect. Hell, I believe it was Archie Thompson who came out saying, we won 2 and you've won one. Now that we've gone back to back, all I'm hearing now is 'We've taken your coach, Melbourne to dominate again'.

As far as Gold Coast goes, I shall post my standard response to what I think of Gold Coast Divided....

What was everyones impression of the game yesterday?

I thought Wellington put on amazing pressure on us early in the game. They just seemly locked it in our own half and couldn't get on. That said, we had some early breaks that should of been buried though.

Thought we eventually wrestled control away from them however. I thought Wellington's defence was outstanding however, they just crushed whatever chances we had to get into the square.

Yeah pretty much spot on. They outplayed us for 30 minutes. It's the first time I can remember Pheonix trying to beat us by dominating rather than stealing a goal on the break. Once we equalised I think they lost their confidence and we dominated possession, but they defended well and there weren't too many clear cut chances for us in the second half. Overall 4 points from the first three including the two toughest away trips isn't a terrible start to the season. We need to make sure we put WSW away this week.

Good effort, just not enough. Dominated with the ball, plenty of opporunities. Thought we made shots a bit difficult for ourselves, but what choice did we have. Their goalkeeper was outstanding all day. Adelaide deserve the points today.

Pretty poor effort from the bench again imo. Rado hasn't realised you are allowed to make subs...Wouldn't have changed Henrique if he hadn't signalled.

This is going to hurt for a while, no doubt. I thought we were better than the scoreline reflected, but at the same time, cant argue about how good Melbourne Heart were tonight. I thought we made opportunities but then again just couldn't polish it. Henrique should of buried at least one but went for the back heel.

As much as we were unlucky from that freak of a free kick last week, I really have to question our defense after the last few weeks

We failed when we had the chances in goal, which we were producing. Just no polish. It has been troubling usfor the last month or so now. Last week we were unlucky, we shoud of got at least a goal in that second but AU was outstanding. Last night our defence was woeful after we started the second half so well.

Need Berisha back no doubt ASAP, but hope Halloran and Henrique can also start firing some in the back of the net as soon as possible. They are capable just haven't produced the goods yet.

Obviously did something right in a game where Ange did not have Archie Thompson or Marco Rojas available the club's leading assist player and top goal scorer. Also Mark Milligan was on international duty too- the clubs #1 central holding midfielder. That explains the result.

It's also no secret the Victory's depth is not as good as other clubs' and Ange will get the opportunity to move on more deadwood next season as he shapes hs squad accordingly.

Funnily enough a few weeks later before last night, the Victory sat on top of both the Roar and Heart on the table.
