Melbourne's terrible 3rd round compo for Rivers/Moloney shows they must be on modest contracts at Cats/Lions. Cash/age determines compo pick
Which means if you kept onto McIntosh next year and Goldstein played for most of the year while McIntosh got $450K for playing in the VFA and McIntosh left as a free agent, NM would get 3/5ths of SFA by way of compensation.

Even Goddard was only deemed to be pick 13 and he was:

(a) Number 1 pick;
(b) Played 115 games in the last 5 years;
(c) GF player; and
(d) Two time all Australian.

No 36 is looking okay to me.

I'd be looking at getting 42 off Collingwood for Pedo. If anything at all. Or try and market him to Richmond for 32?

Trade 38 or 39 & Campbell to Port for Jacobs & 72....?

Hawthorn clearly don't rate the draft. GC have made out like bandits with Jack Martin as (essentially) their first pick.

Unless we get something for Garlett, Pedersen and Campbell which offsets anything we pay for Jacob then our picks will decline further.

49 for Melb. S**T

We will lap it up like mothers milk.

Heavens that we should trade our second year mature age rookie that wants out for a pick in the top 50 the season he played two games (poorly).

Me.

Project forward pocket. Speedy, but slight. After 4 preseasons I would be pushing 75kgs!

Draft me.

Speedy wingman. With four or five pre-seasons under my belt I could be ready to play VFL reserves.

Project player though.
