Dogs are the best placed Victorian club to hit the draft for their rebuild.

5, 6, 22 is a start.

Unless they recruit KPP it wont matter if they collect a hundred top 10 picks.

well on D. Jarman in the 98 GF for example. Wouldn't expect more than 5-10 games out of him during his 10 year career though!

North Melbourne, ever the innovators, have hatched a bold new tactic dubbed the "Bouncer Sub". Essentially the tactic involves activating the sub with a "specialist" player to "nullify" an opposition player who has "gotten of the leash". North's pick 138 in the 2013 draft, Ewan "Tiny" Kippianati, has made the position his own since debtuing in round 5 this year and totally "nullifying" Essendon Skipper and current Brownlow Medalist, Jobe Watson. Ewan, who can't play again until round 8, due to a suspension from the same game, said "I'm jest hippy to pley my rule and thet bro, ay"

Sorry, thought I'd lighten the mood...............k then, back to the analysis, hypothesising, ranting etc.

No please continue, it's much better than the other shit we've been discussing.

How does Tiny go in his second game?

How does Tiny go in his second game?

North Melbourne's innovative new tactic, dubbed the "Bouncer Sub" appears to be unravelling. Ewan "Tiny" Kippianati, around whom the tactic revolves, played his second game today against Collingwood. The problem for North Melbourne and Kippianati was that he was required to substitute for North's speed machine Keiran Harper who copped a corked thigh 10 minutes in to the first quarter. Although Kippianati was able to "nullify" the Magpies's new recruit Quinten Lynch, he soon found the pace of the game hard to adapt his 150 kg frame to. "It was taking him 5 minutes to get to the bench, our rotations were stuffed" a clearly unimpressed North Coach, Brad Scott said after the game. "Tiny is obviously going to have to work on his fitness, his "nullifications" are fantastic, we just need to see more of them". Kippianati will have the next 7 weeks to work on his fitness due to an early gulty plea for an offence 12 minutes into the first quarter, Kippianati had carry over points from an incident earlier this year.

Asked if he thought the so called "Bouncer Sub" tactic was paying dividends, Scott replied "We may have to have another look at it, perhaps it's better to leave this sort of thing for a grand final".

I think it's time Tiny was put in cotton wool until the West Coast game where he should playing a "nullifying" role on Cox.

Those guys moving on will hurt them, as hilarious as that might sound.

What, it might drop them from 5 wins to 3? Chaplin is a solid-ish back and Pearce a flighty outside midfielder but losing these guys will be better long run if they can draft well. They need to re-build around guys like Boak, Hartlett and Trengrove not Chaplin and Pearce.

The last good KPP the Dogs recruited was Teddy "Bash The Missus And Root Th bSister" Whitten.

I think what the compo picks show is that the AFL is just making shit up on the fly.

Made me larf ya did- nice work, 5 gold stars for you!!

PS- no way Franklin would have kicked 13 goals had 'Tiny' been playing that day in Tassie.

Yeah Tiny's been sent, mid season, to UTAH for some conditioning work. He might get another 1 or 2 games this year, depending on umpires, camera angles, etc. Look out for the "Tiny's back" thread.
