I doubt people would have hated us having a squeaky clean image. I think the issue was more that we seemed to be the good little kid that did whatever Daddy Vlad told us to do without any complaint, even when doing so didn't seem to be in the club's best interests.

Players do get paid for TFS appearances, but it's club and AFL approved.

So, how many other people are at the point where they don't care what the AFL do to us, they just want this whole mess to be over?

I'm not quite there yet, but I don't think I'm too far off it.

I had a serious case of RSI after that first week (and I mean I had to wear a wrist brace and all for a few days!) but thankfully it's settled down now. :D

Young declared his client’s deal was straight forward and had no unusual clauses attached.
He said he is aware that all Crows players are under strict AFL scrutiny as the league continues to investigate irregularities into Tippett’s deal that is headed for next week’s full commission hearing.
"We all accept that there is an ongoing investigation at the AFL," Young said
"However it is ridiculous to suggest that any other player is involved with a Tippett-type contract.
“It’s an absolute disgrace that somebody can write a beat-up like this and connect Nathan van Berlo to anything deceitful.
“I can’t believe this and Nathan is flabbergasted.
“Nathan van Berlo is certainly not embroiled in the Kurt Tippett contract dispute with the AFL.
"I can assure anybody of that.
"I spoke with Nathan late into Thursday night about this rubbish that has been written regarding his contract.
“He is pretty disillusioned with an industry that can do what is going on away from the playing field and the football side of the AFL right at the moment.”
Young declared that all negotiations with Crows management at van Berlo’s last contract in 2010 were “completely above board”.

:p Ive renewed, my son's renewed and I'll have another membership by the time this is all over. Now more than ever they need us.

If you want to **** off, go right ahead. But no jumping back on when we make the GF next year.

I didn't realise our side had been gagged. Why wasn't the otherside gagged too? Or, as some expect, the AFL leaks that have been feeding stuff to EQ and CW? Now maybe we've chosen not to fight back/rock the boat/make waves until after all the facts are in the public domain, but it must have been KILLING us to see all this crap dribbled.
 
Van Berlo info can only be coming from sources close to the investigation. The Crows have no motive, Tippett camp would be privy to this information so that leaves the AFL. The AFL are looking more and more ametuerish by the day.

Also, they have constructed their own little 'AFL legal world' where you have to prove your innocence!! WTF this has more in common with some Middle Eastern judical systems than ours. It is just ridiculous and has no chance of standing up in court.

When this is over if all or most of the charges are not proven THEN the AFL owes a huge apology for this mess and in particular to all those that are having thier reputation publically dragged through the mud.

Kudos for keeping your latest rant down to 3 sentences. I normally only read the first line of your pathetic hysteria, but given your effort to be concise this time I actually read the whole thing. 30 seconds I will never get back.
