What determines if this goes to a PART 4 mods?

I'm expecting at least 10 parts, as high as 20. Seriously it has only just been one week, the investigation will go for another couple of months as the thread will continue for months after.
Really there should be a separate thread just about the length of this thread and its historical significance.

Really? Nice try I don't remember saying that at all. I posted a photo of 3 ASADA officials walking into the Fremantle Dockers office this morning for the 2nd time in 2 weeks and asked what was going on given there are investigations.

Now if you really believe they are just there doing random drug tests, then please carry on believing that.

You claimed that Fremantle was under investigation because ASADA testers had arrived at the club.

Do you understand the meaning of the word random??

Or should ASADA just email out a schedule to the clubs so that the "dirty" players can get all of their ducks in a row.

It's not just Richmond fans....all clubs are represented in this shark frenzy.

People may be enjoying this now, but what if Essendon are given their marching orders for a year or 2? No doubt some opposition fans will be giddy with excitement but I guess for most others it would hit home that there's no way in hell the players were privy to any wrong doings. I hate Essendon, I hate when we lose to them and I hate most of their posters on here....the feeling is no doubt mutual but isn't this the definition of competition?

Look my personal opinion, and its an opinion only, is that they were all in on it. Not necessarily the players (I'm still undecided on that point) but Dank, Hird, Thompson, Robinson etc certainly were. This crap that nobody knew what Dank was up to, that the coaches were the ones taking the drugs etc etc doesn't fly with me. Maybe I'm cynical but I just don't buy it. I can't.

Should it be found that the players were injected with something sinister, well I'm sorry they, the club, HAS TO cop their right whack and if that includes player sanctions well so be it.

I'm sorry if I'm not overly sympathetic to their plight but it wasn't that long ago Carlton were copping from all And sundry for salary cap breaches. And rightly so may I add.

Fair enough - respect your point if that's your view, and if it's proven that the club was in on it then of course they need to pay.

Hird sniped Knights from the coaching role - I lost a lot of respect for him there but for him to cheat the system is pushing it in my belief.

Time will tell.

The club hasn't been informed yet. Demetriou doesn't think they're allowed to despite being given permission by the ACC, it's bizarre.

I thinking that the AFL aren't sure how to deal with the fallout of naming the club. If it was the Westernbulldogs for example I think the call may have already been made. It may be that this is where the real story is and the Essendon thing will become a non event.

As for the Essendon thing, their only concern is that Danks was pumping the players with illegal substances while the club believed it was all above board.

We're in the middle of an investigation by ASADA of drug cheats and they happen to arrive at your club and nobody elses and you think it's all one big coincidence and there is nothing to worry about.

ASADA has suddenly stopped their random drug tests at all other clubs, have they??

Again. Do you understand that ASADA conducts random drug tests on behalf of the AFL and have done so since BEFORE this scandal became news??

according to caroline she has a player on record stating that he was injected into the stomache by dank himself at the football club. she also has a player on record stating that he received an IV drip at an off site clinic

There is another episode of Footy Classified on Thursday night which might mean that Caro and Barrett have dug up some more dirt or that there will be some big news breaking in the next couple of days or it could just be another opportunity for Caro to indulge in some hysterical Essendon bashing.

I'll just be labelled as biased but I thought that from the beginning the media were willing to rubbish the club for simple purpose of headlines. As the days went on it all got to much for me. I snapped last night as anyone could probably tell in my first post. I feel better about things now. I can't really say why but I stand by a lot I said in my first post. Unless this clears very soon I fear the damage could prove too massive. We can't rely on all opposition fans but all us Essendon people have to keep our voice strong and stick with the club we love. No matter what. Don't think I've ever looked forward to a NAB cup game as much as I am right now.

Yeah very true, I've also thought this is strange but I can understand they want to have pure belief in their best player to ever play for them - I'd be the same with Richo!

Either: a) his involvement in drug cheating or b) his complete negligence/incompetence in relation to Dank, unknown player injections etc.

We'll know soon enough which one applies and if I was a betting man my money would be on a)

I could also mention his complete incompetence as an actual coach bit I'll leave that for one of the numerous other threads on the topic.
