Davies signed on Tuesday and actually trained with us yesterday. He seems like the replacement for Danning really. Mulvey is still looking at a foreign striker to fill the 5th visa spot but I wouldnt mind seeing Meyer and Davies have a go at the 2nd striker spot.

Haven't heard anything about Harold moving back to Brisbane. An ex-teammate of Halloran from Gold Coast and is a Brisbane boy.

Paartalu's situation looks more likely that he will move to a Chinese club. I was hoping, if he did move, he would go to a European club. Just not sure how much development he will get at a Chinese club but the money will speak too. Hope we get Brattan into his spot and Ross Archibald (NYL) could be a handy back up too but he is still young.

What a shocker. Woeful performance by just about everyone. Not sure if I've seen a worse performance than Nick Fitzgerald's today. I don't think he did one thing well. Embarrassing.

Just got back from the game.

First things first. I think we cost ourselves the game. Let us be honest. You need to be able to score more than your opponents and we couldn't even create shots at goal. When there was potential, we lost communication, we lost confidence and we mucked up every opportunity we had. Potential yes, opportunity maybe, finish has well and truely been left behind.

I also find it amusing that the ones taking the most satisfaction are once again Perth Glory fans.

That said, I'm trying a new approach to life this year and sticking to my new way of thinking 'If you got nothing good to say, don't say it all'.... which is why I won't make any statements on what I thought of the second half umpiring.

Poor refereeing decisions cost us three points, plain and simple.

We should've got a free kick with a shot on goal, which the ref not giving it resulted in the equaliser the following minute and don't get me started on WSW's second goal...

First game we played in a while that was actually good to watch. I definitely think we can salvage something out of this A-League season.

I'll take the draw but I'm happy about the fact that we might be playing good football again.

ACL qualifier tonight v Burinam, starts 9pm Brisbane time. As my lecture finishes at 8.50pm I get to catch most of the game.

I'm disappointed in the amount of Roar fans not willing to give Mulvey a chance. At least give him a pre-season to put his stamp on the team before judging.

I don't know what everyones complaining about, I like what Mulveys done so far. The clubs really come on in leaps and bounds this season since he's taken over imo.

A few stumbling blocks along the way but that's too be expected.

Happy to be in the finals, when I thought it was no chance of happening 2 months ago. Most of this season actually felt like a copy of our 2009-10 season. The Den was absolutely electric tonight.

Bratten has been great the 2nd half of the year...he always just needed game time. Donachie and North have been pretty solid at the back as well which is where our main problem has been. It's obviously very tough from 5th but we've got a better chance than most to do well in this series...

It was so tense at the end, but we're now one win away from the Grand Final and two wins away from another toilet seat and ACL qualification.

Although I think WSW will be too good for us next week, especially with their fresher legs and our injuries.

Well, there is our exit Not a bad end to the season, considering how poor we have been season long and the dramas at our club, no shame going down against the best team in the competition this season yet.

And again, Perth Glory fans are an amusing bunch.

Have to be on the WSW bandwagon next weekend, seem like a pretty good bunch. Great effort reaching the GF in their debut season too.

Sad that we won't be in the Asian Champions League next season.

Hope CCM destroy the $cum on Sunday, I really don't want the Victory to make the ACL.

And I will also be going for the Wanderers in the Grand Final, their support is damn impressive, getting half the stadium to stand and sing.

if we win the GF we get an auto spot but if we lose sunday we get the half spot, which means we'll have a play off game

not sure what happens if we make the GF but lose. i think we only get the half spot not 100% sure
