Hasn't it already aired?According to the Foxtel description, the Rex Hunt Open Mike is the 'most emotional and honest yet.' Could be very interesting.

Anything would seem emotional compared to Scarlo last week, thought it was filmed in a funeral home.
I think it was after Rex spoke about Clinton Grybas, who Mike Sheehan would have known pretty well too. Still such a heartbreaking story to this day.Open Mike episodes like tonights make me wish every week was an hour long, 30 mins seems just too short. and i wanted to know what got Mike to get the watery eyes, i think this just knocked Dougie off as the best of the year so far but they all need to be and hour long or longer especially when they are this interesting.

Also interesting to hear about his move to Triple M. I've always had them as my footy station, so probably never really truly appreciated Rex Hunt when he was commentating, but he was a lot more mellow with them. So it didn't surprise me to hear that he had been told to tone it back, and that he would only play 2nd or 3rd fiddle in the commentary box.
Has anyone listened to him on AFL Live this year?

That Rex Hunt interview nearly brought me to tears when he was speaking about Clinton Grybas, and the rest was amazing to listen to as well. I've never seen Mike Sheehan that close to tears in any of his other interviews for this show. Any footy follower needs to watch that, they just must.
who's on next week?
only select episodeYeah I agree, I would have sworn there were one hour episodes last year though
He lost me as the years went by because as a listener I could hardly visualise where the ball was on the ground because he seemed too preoccupied with his theatrics which detracted from the call.probably my favourite commentator of all time in his 3AW days, seemed very quiet and boring on triple M and now i know why. what a waste of talent.
