Kosi isn't the answer . He trys hard enough but even the Saints super midfield couldn't feed him enough ball to really hit the score board. He also breaks down alot.
he only scored 27 goals last year. Has PLayed 195 games for 243 goals age 31

seaby is an option, a good one or not is different but he is showing form at wafl and looks to good for that competition

What about the bloke that seems to kick 100 goals every year at Claremont? I know he's about 40 now and has been around the block once with the slime but he always kicks goals. Isn't that what we are after?

I'm doubting that he is in the top 25% of the salary bracket thou. Which he needs to be to be eligible for restricted FA.

We could easily out bid the bombers, they have Hurley and Danniher, plus a couple of good medium talls forwards, they don't need him.

Pears is another one I think could be within reach if we put the right offer to him.

I think you misunderstand.

He needs to be in the Bombers top 25% of their salary bracket for him to be eligible as a restricted free agent next year.

I doubt that he is.

* A player has served eight or more seasons of AFL football at one club, is one of the top 25 per cent highest-paid players at his club, and is now out of contract for the first time since reaching eight seasons of service. (restricted free agent):

The player is eligible to field offers from all rival AFL clubs.
If he wishes to change clubs, the player must decide on the best offer of his choice from one rival club.

His club has the right to match the presented offer.

If the club matches the offer, he may choose to remain with his original club, seek a trade or enter the draft.

If the club does not or can not match the offer, the player can move to the new club of his choice.
His original club will receive a compensation pick for the loss of the player, on an AFL-determined formula to apply where clubs lose more free agents than they gain in any single transfer period.
