Will be good to have South Mornington back in div 4 after this year. From what I've heard this isn't the first time they've started sniping once they're out of the game.
I doubt they'll be one of the 2 relegated teams to be fair.
But it wasn't even before they were out of the game, in the first quarter their runner was telling players to make sure they 'f***ing hit them'

It depends what the runner meant by f***ing hit them weather he meant as in bump or tackle but if it was meant as just hit them with a fist the runner should be kicked out and banned from running as this sort of behavour does not do anyone any good
Speaking to an umpire for the GF last year who also commented that SM on ground behaviour was quite questionable to put it nicely.
Having said that, I think you draw a long bow there Norfolk. How many times have you said before a game - we've got to hit them hard today....doesn't necessarily mean you want to punch the suit cases out of them!
Once I heard an opposing team say "let's bury em boys"!!! All this talk makes me think I was lucky to make it out alive!

Agree, not implying that he was telling them to king hit or anything like that. We all like to play hard, make our tackles hurt etc. and Sth Mornington do play a very physical brand of footy which I like playing. But maybe there is a bit too much emphasis on 'hitting blokes' whether that be fairly or not... You'd like your runner to be delivering a bit more tactical nous than that.

You missed the point of the post dear Rabble! Coming on BigFooty [as I now know it was the President of R C] and writing some very ordinary comments about South Mornington is something that 99% of Club Presidents would not do! It is simply not the forum to do it!
As the private posts have reminded me the drivel started with your club so perhaps you should back off. I presume you are a player/supporter and have little official standing b/c the better clubs have banned officials from posting here?

I'm no longer at South Mornington but still have a look on here and on the results. What a schoolboy bully mentality people have on here. Big Waz, you are a president of a club, how about you act like one, instead of writing inflammatory shit on here about another "incident", send a report to the VAFA.
Justafan, if you want, I'm more than happy to host you at my place and you can watch the grand final from last year, don't think you will find too much wrong. One player got reported for a high hit, yet had the ball in his hands when the incident occurred. One Swinburne player had his jaw broken, but that was from friendly fire.
This is not an unders forum, yet the level on which most operate on I would not expect to see written from a 12 year old. Having said that South aren't travelling great this year and I hope they stay up and find some form, We had a great season last year and it was inevitable that we would lose players this year. The new President, committee and social committee are doing a great job and things will turn around for them, it is hard when you have a core of less than 20 players across the 2 teams from last year and about 30 new players.

What better clubs?......its a forum......look up the meaning.......We at RCFC don't back off.......personally I like South...always have...and I understand boys will be boys...its professional whingers like you that irritate me and others........why don't you try and justify the actions of the bloke who did get reported?.......chump....
I stand by this previous comment. I had a conversation with the umpires after the game and we decided that it would be a challenge/waste of effort to report the player in question. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, and it certainly doesn't make South Mornington a friendlier place to play a game.
As for committee members talking crap on BF... It happens all the time, some people have pseudonyms and some don't.

Just found out [more private posts] that you are the coach of RC. Interesting style that you are happy to try to bully others by warning them to back off! Your club would be better served by concentrating on your club rather than giving other clubs ammunition to store away for the future - it will come back to haunt you. Not sure if you and the president will understand the message here? The professional whinger appears to be Littlewaz AS HE introduced the issue. It is also about time you rolled out your insulting comment about the lifeguard & the gene pool - try to come up with something a little bit classier.

Aquinas has been hit hard by injurys and departures overseas,should start to get a few back in the next couple of weeks,plus a new recruit from the WAFL.
