Great shot. To be fair I don't think it's really possible to ruin a plain sky blue kit with white shorts. The away kit looks good too. Put it this way, it could be worse. You could have Warrior 'designing' (if you could call what they do designing) your kits.

I think the shirt looks tacky (thin material, terrible fit), the tone of blue is almost sickly in comparison to the perfect Umbro one, and the white shorts made the whole thing a bit... soft looking. Don't rate it.

I am a big fan of the kit in its entirety. The sock style is great, really like the kit. Blue could be a bit darker though as SA suggests.

I remember Umbro did really well with the new Three Lions. They took out some unnecessary elements and colours, and it looked way more classic. It was just simpler. But the 150 emblem just contradicts the feel of the old one... I don't know, but you can't have a gawdy 'sahhh modern' insignia under something perpetually classic. Why not a gold ribbon underneath?

I swear every team I go for is cursed. Two teams that are really close to my heart now have embarassingly shit logos.

But it is funny reading facebook/social media comments etc. about the new logo and seeing that literally no-one likes it.

Edit: my comments about the new logo in the Everton fans thread (I've seen the leaked logo months ago so I am starting to get used to it )

The biggest issue for me is the removal of the wreaths. They could at least have the wreaths where the "18" and "78" is and have "Est 1878" below "Everton".

Only thing I like about the new design is the shade of royal blue and strangely enough the "Everton" font. In all those years I wanted Everton to revert back to the 80's badge with the Prince Rupert's tower and the wreaths, with "EFC" on top and the club pretty much does the complete opposite.


It's like every team I go for has a shit logo now. First Brisbane Roar, then the Brisbane Lions and now Everton. Not long now until the Brisbane Broncos get a new shit logo the way things are going.
