Surely Brisbane aren't paying Voss 600k a year. That would be madness.

Not like he had a great coaching resume before he started - or any resume at all - and with his loyalty to his old club it's not like they would have needed to turn his head with a huge sum.

Voss doesn't really look to exude confidence in the coaching box, sits there without much direction from him for most of the match it seems.

The latest Sliding Doors from the AFL website,

IF: St Kilda officials had their time over again.

Then: … they would have not got complacent in 2011 when it came time to locking away Ross Lyon as coach. Could be the greatest ever coup in footy poaching.

I am Fremantle's complete lack of Surprise.

We are really lucky to have The Boss. Source inside the club says that most of the players love him, he has high expectations but is always very clear about what he wants from each and every player. He is stern but fair, and despite his demeanour is quite approachable and a good leader. I asked if the boys are coached to parrot his responses about "great effort" but she said that wasn't the case, they just appear to have bought in completely. Can only be a good thing for the rest of Ross's tenure at Freo - long may he prosper!

Interesting to note the Gold Coast sliding door as well:

Greg Broughton can’t get a game and is stuck in the NEAFL for a large chunk of the season … … what a waste it was recruiting him.
