That HTB against Simpson was a ****** shocker - set the tone for the night.I'm just going to point out that last week... last Friday night... SEVEN damn days ago, there were zero (0), ZERO 'holding the ball' free kicks paid.
Zilch, none, nada.* (That or like 1...)
First decision of the night... a shocker against us.
Something is NOT adding up.
Maybe but would of been very soft, if Simpson hadn't of hesitated when he first got the ball he would have got it over the goal line.
Was definitely a goal from the replay they showed according to the rules.

Need to learn how to stay out of opponents backs and head high contact also....Soft or not too high! Just more crap that goes against us that doesn't seem to happen against cats, nth, west coast, hawks Our players really need a lesson on throwing head back when feel slightest touch in a contest. Not just play hard at the ball and win it off your own guts and determination.
Stay away from jury duty.

Couldn't give a flying f--k about their skill errors TBH, but do understand what your saying BM123.
Simpson's poor effort to rush a behind to gift Gunston a goal and Judd miss on the run and they rush it to the other end for a goal are just 2 examples of goals conceded without umpire interference probably a couple more if you look hard.
So we shouldn't call out what occurred tonight because of what others will say about us?It was pathetic. Again, it cost us momentum and cost us a match. Yes, we lose composure when teams come back at us, but some terrible decisions keep the opposition close enough. I just know that these things aren't taken seriously on this site and we will be held up to ridicule over it.
Which examples of too high or in the back were missed to us other then the Simpson one you have identified which I reckon wasn't really there anyway ??Problem is these frees seem to go against us but not paid to us in the same game.
Simmo had an absolute cracker of a game and you pick out his one mistake?? C'Mon, Our team did really well tonight and we were ROBBED. More than just incompetence. Most weeks I'd agree with you about our skill errors costing us the game, BUT, Hawthorn should never have been that close, due the bullshit decisions and momentum shifts, we were always under pressure at the end, no wonder the boys were frustrated and losing concentration.

Hodge getting Murphy high was missed.
No, I was reading through the thread because I was equally disgusted by what went on.Are you stalking me after these games sherb? Is the thread still open? I just expressed an opinion that I don't believe a thread is going to win us much credibility. It's okay though, as long as those that want it, also defend our supporter base on the main board when they have a shot at us over it. Not too much to ask.
Goal ump thought it was a point. So the whole ball was over the line then.....
Cant wait for the AFL to say it was an error tomorrow then.

Simmo was in the top 2 or 3 players on the ground IMO, dont just pick out one piece of a discussion and think I am potting him.
I was just trying to suggest that I am more concerned with other areas then the umpires tonight although some of their decisions were mind boggling.
No down field free for that ugly bastard Roughead's late hit on Simpson.
