Hey guys,
In 2011, 2012 and 2013, the merch we've had has been relatively good. Some of it has been fantastic, some of it... not so fantastic.
I think we need a thread to discuss where we as supporters can discuss exactly what want to have in regards to merchandise, such as polos, jumpers, hoodies, jackets, shorts, pants, caps, beanies, training gear etc etc
I think the common consensus for this board is more black, some white and less teal/silver, which I personally think is a fantastic idea. It pays homage to our heritage, where we mainly wore black and white, and quite frankly, it looks better and classier. The polos and jumpers we've had lately have been fantastic in this regard, much, much better than the teal/silver crap we've dished up in the past.
Another theme I've found to be common is simplicity. We're quite happy for media polos, jumpers, etc, to have the sponsor logos and whatnot, but sometimes we want to support our team without looking like a walking billboard. For example, the new era PA monogram cap. Simple, bold, and very classy. I think all of us have one. The beautiful thing about that particular item is that it appeals to all demographics - the younger blokes (i.e. me) can wear them in a stereotypically gangster way (sticker on, flat brim), whereas the older blokes (i.e. you) can rip of the sticker and bend the brim and be proud the wear that PA monogram.
So, ITT, just say what you would like to see and what you would like to have and to wear. I'm pretty good with photoshop so I can mock up whatever ideas you may have. Be constructive, and perhaps we can pass this on to the PAFC megastore.
