We have not "done nothing wrong", but we are not convicted drug cheats at this point either.Oh that's right, they have sacked staff, stood others down, had a 5 month anti-doping investigation undertaken on the club, and had the CEO and Chairman resign..........BUT WE HAVE DONE NOTHNG WRONG AND WE ARE IN A GOOD PLACE.

Hird lives and breathes essendon and is a proud man. Even if if he is guilty I can see why, selfishly or not his reasons for not walking from the club

I have a feeling that he doesn't believe hird should be sacked and that this may be the reason why Evans has stood down - if Evans stayed as chairman the inference would be that he couldn't / wouldn't sack his mate which is a problem a new chairman won't have to deal with. The fact he mentioned hird as one of the people he foresees leading essendon out of this helps that opinion

After all these months, you still cannot face the reality that senior people in your club are starting to fall because the club oversaw a regime of sports science experiments on players - and that those players are responsible for the drugs they took.
Just grow up, and show some balls. You should want this mess cleaned up. You should want the people responsible punished. You should want the notion of strict liability upheld. You should accept that your club needs to get smashed for the sake of the competition and the health of players.

Senior execs play the health reasons, more time with the family, have to concentrate on something else line all the time. Evans get no sympathy from me and the question of financial links with Metabolic coincidently came out the same day.

I'm someone who looks at all media publication with a grain of salt, but you look at any AFL scandal before this one and the media is gagged heavily and we hear close to bugger all but spin and what the AFL feeds us. For example Melbourne and their non "Tanking".
This would have been nothing more than a mumblings and theories had it not been for an unknown ACC report that meant the damage could not be contained. If there was only one coincidence in all of this over the duration then maybe, maybe you would be right on it.
TBH I thought this was nothing more than a beat up until AD backed up the two original reporters months ago rather than the normal AFL deny then pressure approach to the media to make it go away.
Nothing that has happended in the past few weeks has no lent itself to this all ending up in the manner most of us beleive it will.

What stress? According to Evans and Hird, the club has nothing to worry about and is in a good position and once the truth comes out, everyone will see why they had nothing to worry about?
I mean what ill health affects could occur if you know 100% that you are gonna be ok in the end, unless of course you really don't think that, but are just putting on a façade to placate your supporters who believe your every word without asking for any proof.
