Hopefully someone can help. I am trying to change my seats, however I get an error message, 'A single seat in a row should not be left vacant'. There is a single seat vacant in the row, but that is at the other side of the bay from where my 2 seats have been chosen?

terrible idea to put the perspex glass up, especially if its not clean and your expected to sit down so the others behind can see....you will be forced to look through the perspex for most of the game

This was my first thought when I saw the glass. Obviously their would legally need to be a wall up to a certain height there and I guess glass is better than concrete. The only thing I could of that would solve that is setting the first seats back so they are an extra step up. Hoping that its just a software limitation or something and it doesn't obstruct the view of the field because they would be the best seats if not for that.

Why is the seat exchange window open to some, yet it's not open to others?

I'm assuming its easier to manage in stages and at nominated times. Think it would be a nightmare if 40 thousand people logged on at the same time trying to change their seats.

Unless I'm mistaken, it seems like it's currently only open to people managing groups of tickets, which makes sense, since it's a lot easier to shift blocks of 2-10 people around on demand before all the solo or self organising tickets jump into the system and wreak havoc.

What do Etihad stadium and MCG have in front of rows A in their upper levels? I don't remember seeing glass/Perspex or any other barrier but obviously there must be something up to a certain height?

Eye level is looming straight through the glass if your the first few rows of Mid tier..not ideal

Actually that isn't right. If you move in the first phase that's it, you don't get another opportunity to move in the remaining 2 phases.

I was told by membership team on the phone that even if you move you can change seats again in phase 2...this is something they need to clear up as people are saying different things

The seat change system is way too smart for itself. The system will not allow you to change to seats if there is 1 seat left available in a row, even if that single seat is 20 seats away from your selected seats.
Is there someone out there that can help me. I need someone to select a seat (but not hold it!) on the row that I want to change my seats to. Then I can change my seats as there will be no seats available in my row. Thanks.

This is cut from the member pack, so yes you can change again in phase 2-

Seats can be changed even after you have accepted and paid for the
seats originally offered, however please note that seats can only be
changed once during each phase.

From Thursday 19 September, Group Organisers that have accepted
a seat within phase one will be offered a second opportunity to
change seats once seats not accepted in the Phase One are released

Got our group of 12 split. Not surprised but being moved behind point post northern end was a deal breaker.

So 7 of us went essential Crows.

Melinda in members services was fantastic. Request her if you can.

Essential capacity is current members plus 1300.
100 non members applied so far.

I couldn't remember either, and I've sat in those seats at both stadiums so if I don't remember it can't have been too bad.

A quick google images search shows they have concrete to a certain level then a black hand rail type fence above that.

Obviously they need something above eye level because of the drunk person who will stand on their seat after a goal, or a child leaning over from their parents lap, and maybe glass is better than a rail for the person who is the exact height whose eyes align with the rail, but something annoys me about the idea of watching live football through a glass window. Especially if their is glare from the sun or lights at night.. Or scuff marks from feet or vandals.. I'd just get so distracted haha.

Yes agree.

I was told the exact opposite by the membership department, I wont mention his name.

It also states in the email that you can only move once, but doesn't clarify if you can move in the other 2 phases.

Ye who knows, I received my email on the 14/8 and I don't have access to look for other seats until Monday 19th. I'm the group organiser for 9.

+1 for melinda in member services. She transferred me from AAMI membership to Vic membership when no one else could
