Not sure if SANFL counts as local for the purposes of this thread, but if so the Norwood jumper is IMO one of the best jumpers in footy (apart from the big sponsor that every SANFL club seems to have).

Ed Lower, former Norwood and Norf boy, wore his Norwood uniform on Big Brother tonight. It was an older one when Fairmont homes wasn't plastered along the front like that. Check out their clash, it has the monogram there and no overly large sponsor.

Ballajura JFC :)

Ive always loved the East Perth jumper, but the amount of sponsors on the front of it is absolutely atrotious. Good to see it without them.

I know this is an indiginous round jumper from a couple of years ago, but the jumper todya is still the same just without the boomerangs and the Govt. of WA patch

The amount of advertising on that is disgusting!

That is the biggest problem with state jumpers. Especially for Norwood.

Sadly it's the only way for any of these clubs to survive. And, nonsense about Norwood. I despise their very being but out of all SANFL teams, Norwood is probably one of the best ones when it comes to sponsorship. They have ONE sponsor on theirs, that's all! And on their clash you can barely even see it.

They also have better merch than most AFL teams.

Fair enough, I didn't realise that.

I don't like the idea for sponcors on the stomach. I am really not used to it on jumpers, especially when they have sponsors on the breast.

The AFL is probably the only league in the world with sponsors on breasts rather than across the chest
Almost. The greater majority of field hockey teams have the sponsor on the breast.
Although, they have it the right way around. For hockey, the sponsor is on the right side and the team/comp you play for/in is ooh the players left.

what are your opinions of Chelsea FC's 2011 centenary guernsey?

The design is pretty plain but it featured a circular collar which made their guernsey look like a singlet

Shocker why they did not wear there traditional Geelong jumper is beyond me. Has not helped them two years down the track they are almost broke and sitting on the bottom of the ladder

I wouldnt say that, just about every major american league doesnt have any sponsors at all on their playing kits, apart from the brand who made it and that is usually lcoated just under the collar or on the brest.

NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA...all only have their manufacturers name on their kit either udner the collar or on the brest.

I am a bit of a fan of strathmores

I may be a bit bias but I love my clubs (Carrum Patterson Lakes FC) modernisation of our 1974-45 back-to-back premiership guernsey (which back then was known as just Carrum FC).
