He came into the side for the last two finals when Talia broke his arm. He was never best 22, except for a run of games in early 2011. I liked him at first but he's no better now than he was when we first picked him up 3 years ago.

Yeah, spot on. Showed good promise as a running tall defender, but just hasn't progressed at all. Looked okay in the finals last year, but has failed to step up and put any pressure on the incumbents despite playing every match in the SANFL this year.

Craig Parry has been deregistered (and effectively banned for life) after his latest report saw him suspended for 2 games, taking him over the 16 game threshold that automatically deregisters him.

The Eagles are fighting the deregistration, but seeing as overturning can only be done if the SA Football Commission is 'satisfied the player is genuinely rehabilitated and unlikely to reoffend', and Parry in the past three seasons has racked up 11 games in suspensions, he stands little chance of the deregistration being overturned.

What do you want to know? Didn't play for North on the weekend - I wasn't sure if he was held back as emergency. Has gone backwards this year, which is surprising given that he was probably our best performer in pre-season.

He also signed a new 2-year deal a couple of weeks ago.

Cheers mate! Was just confused as to Sando saying he was dropped in order to play SANFL and get some time in the midfield, to then not play at all. Seemed a bit odd - then realised you guys had a late change to the senior side so am presuming he was held back in case it was him who came in.

If the guy didn't realise one more indiscretion could see him de registered then he is more of an idiot then this makes him look. Obviously has a temper issue. Instead of banning him for life maybe a season ban is enough. can go away and think if footy is really for him.

The latest report looked soft as. The North player swung an arm back it him, and got him high, Parry sort of had a swipe back. Barely any contact. Shouldn't even have been a free kick. Couldn't believe they accepted it. Maybe he's had enough?

Maybe the Commission will handball the decision back to the clubs?
