Subiaco doesn't hold 50k, neither do the qld grounds.....will they afl force suns to play home final at gabba?Until they play at a stadium that holds 50 thousand it is never going to happen.
Won't happenas a cats man I sent my mate (a hawks man) a text saying, "bring on the dockers week 1 #vengeance"..He replied saying "bring on the swans week 1 # vengeance".
Love it
Won't happen

Geelong v Fremantle at Simonds, that's what it should be, not Etihad.
Tigers to stroll into week two with ease.
Haha no way Port v Richmond deserves to be at the MCG.
Not morals, but I think a good chance for it to happenSo we are morals to lose to the Swans next week? A club that has failed to defeat a top 4 contender this year...Right
A lose would put us in the frame to host the Dockers at Ethiad with back-to-back-to-back matches on less than ideal tracks
Richmond have 60k members and haven't made the finals in 12 years. It ain't rocket science.
It ultimately comes down to a business decision. No business is ever going to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars when there is an alternative available that will make them more money. Fact is until SS holds close to Etihads capacity, it's not going to happen. Not saying it's right, but it's a fact.Where would you prefer Sydney to play their home finals SCG or ANZ? Size shouldn't come into it now with the upgrades they've made to Simmonds.
Tigers will finish 6th or 7th and play an interstate side. Oh just cause they haven't made the finals in over a decade doesn't give them rights on the best ground and time slot.
What is this concept of "rights" you speak of? Richmond-Port is more likely to sell out Etihad than Geelong-Freo.![]()
It's the right that comes with finishing higher on the ladder. It's why the team that finishes top of the ladder plays first and gets the longest break. It's not "rocket science".
Swans would want to put in a good effort next week, they are 0-3 vs Hawks and Cats with a total losing margin of 102 points. By comparison North is 1-3 with a net losing margin of 11 points.

Irrelevant. Freo aren't that great and are too in tune to beating up crappy sides. They've had like 2 or3 top 8 teams in the back half of the season or something? And lost 2 of them.
Hawks and Cats will cruise into week 3.
