he aint going to Melbourne, it is between last game of the season and trade week, all type of crap gets posted in here with very little validation. Did you hear we were trading Wells and our first rounder (the one we need for Lmac) for Sloane? it's happening, my sister's hairdresser's boyfriend knows a bloke that works at sando's regular fish &chips shop, and overheard a phone conversation last time sando was ordering a greasy hamburger.

I watched that game last night. My god that first quarter was impressive. I know it was only against St. Kilda but we just absolutely destroyed them! I didn't even see Nicky Dal in the 1st quarter

look closer, he is sitting on the outside of the pack waiting for an in and under saint midfielder to get the ball to him, unfortunately for him we killed it in the packs, he does do few nice things after quarter time though.

I remember Bryon early days, he'd flash across the corner of the tv screen just missing an opponent. Little did I realise that was him adjusting to the pace of AFL. Of course he went onto become the human wrecking ball.

Looks great on paper, but with less rotations on the way id say we'd want a spot or 2 in the forward line to rotate some mids. Thats why im wondering why we're so interested in Betts. But it just dawned on me, maybe we're looking at Betts as Boomers replacement. So maybe Boomers last year and being nursed through it with far more games as Sub.

Yeah maybe pay a bit more attention to your club next time instead of slagging off players on the main board.

They all left a few years late back to their former club and taking them didn't stop us taking good quality kids in our zone. I don't want us to sacrifice the future for the present, saw the damage Pagan and Laidley did trying that gambit.

Tas, surely it is better to trade our early draft picks and a few kids with unfulfilled potential to bring in guys with a year or two left in them, who can get us a flag next year, before Boomer and Drew retire? f..k all the hard work that has been done over the last 5 to 6 years.

I have grim doubts we will win a flag before Boomer and Dish retire so not sure if this is a plot to improve the coach's longevity or a red hot crack.

We got back on the park with good sound drafting, a lot of our senior players let us down, they are inconsistent and don't often fire up in big games. I think we may be prematurely heading for top up. It is fair to say our recruitment of players from other clubs isn't so flash.

Dale Thomas just turned 26, so you he should have 4-5 good years left, that is worth just sacrificing some cash.

But to give cash and good pick/player for someone that has 1-3, given we finished 10th it is not like we are on the cusp of a flag, a lot of players from 2012 have chronically under-performed in 2013, we still have a lot of inexperienced players.

If we just were a lot more defensive and didn't repeat the same mistakes week after week I would expect us to improve with the same squad.

I don't mind getting NDS as just a free agent, think it is a bad mistake to lose too much for him. I am not over the moon on Betts at the money he is asking, I am holding out hope Adelaide beat us to him.
