Ha I got that but what I mean is, if we already know our top offer for dusty, then we know if we can up our offer to dusty or not, so imo we should be able to get his contract done now. Of course this may have already been done.

My point is the comparison is stupid, because Maric will always attract a premium

No where near Ellis, Ellis is a gun. Furthermore defensively I rate Morris higher and would put Morris and Newman in before Houli easily in defense. I rate Houli maybe slightly ahead of Batchelor

Mate his defensive work has come along in leaps and bounds in 2013, yes Morris defence may be better but how much offensive drive does morris give us? Houli is top 10 offensive back men in the comp, and if his player is chasing him forward isn't that just as good as a defensive effort?

I would argue morris' 1 on 1 defence aint that flash and is over blown.

Against the better smalls he can be beaten ie betts and walters. Not saying he is bad but geez I will spew up if I see him fly to spoil and miss entirely and get scored on. Just saying he is not as good as its being portrayed is all!

Yeah i agree Flea, he seems to get a bit lost when the ball comes in the air one on one.. Great at ground level and pressure acts

He's shut down Betts nearly every time except the EF and Walters was solid up the ground on him but did no damage.
